No effort in the first quarter. Poorly officiated game. Landry and Scola crawl over our backs for rebounds. Sasha and Luke play terrible (surprise!). Fisher is playing terrible.

Now the Lakers are one game away from elimination. Unfreakingbelievable.

No, see a homer thinks EVERYTHING is about their team. But in reality this team as constructed is more of a threat then a totaaly healthy Rockets team, but of course, you dont get that

That doesn't explain why we can't guard a team that's missing two out of its three best players and has roleplayers like Aaron Brooks and Luis Scola become superstars as they dominate the likes of Derek Fisher and Pau Gasol. It's disgusting.

Rant:

The Lakers came out like a bunch [expletive] (not suprising).

Fisher was garbage last night. I love the guy as much as anyone else on this board, but seriously this guy is done. He is old, can't shoot, can't defend. Zero reasons to have him in there over Farmar or Brown.

Pau was awful and continues to be as soft as the toilet paper those damn bears wash their [expletive] with. He's great on offense, but gives us little to nothing on the defensive side.

Kobe needed to have a bigger game and get more people involved. He's supposed to be our leader, but he clearly has not changed.

Phil needs to get his head on straight. He's making some suspect decisions out there and like Van Gundy said (and we've all been saying for years: LEARN HOW TO DEFEND THE PICK & ROLL! And please stop played Sasha. Dude sucks [expletive] and needs to stay as far away from the floor as possible.

The rest of the guys played a ok, but we still all lacked intensity.

Championship........? Perhaps next year. Show up you [expletive] suckers and this won't happen.

Nope, not at all. It's about Phil Jackson's bonehead coaching and Pau Gasol's inability to play a hint of defense tonight. Those are our two biggest culprits for this loss. And now we have to go for a game 7 in which ANYTHING can happen.

nahhh, i disagree, but i hate our offense
but mark jackson officially picked Denver.....Its so funny to me. we fought for HC, now watch it in action.
Phil vs. Rick game 7...who ya got?
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

yea, i'm just saying if boston's d and heart was so amazing, they wouldn't have gone 7...after those first two rounds, a lot of people laughed at the prospect of our team losing to that boston team. not to say this laker team feels like that boston team last year, but i see no reason to count the season over...styles make matchups, and yao going down was a blessing in disguise for houston. this is comparable to the typical bobcat type team the lakers have a problem with. i honestly think we will not lose to denver or clevleland in a 7 game series. nor will we lose game 7

yeah but you can't rely on something like that

if the rockets come out hitting 17 3s or something our season is over

boston was lucky remember lebron almost one that game but paul pierce dove and prevented it

their season would have been over that is why you can't risk game 7's when you are clearly superior

This is more about the Rockets , than the Lakers

orly? wow, it just doesn't end with you. surely, give the rockets some credit, but to say it's more about them than the lakers? when they're missing yao, tmac, & mutombo, woww... hah

magic johnson better give these guys a surprise visit and help straighten them out

magic should choke the whole team.

they traded Alston for a reason, despite T-mac going down. All the runs made by the rockets were with Yao on the bench, and the Rockets were 4-0 against us without Yao. This is like facing portland, a bad match up for us

i used to fight for kobe against lebron fans and MJ fans and i fought lakerfool

and yes lakerfool is wrong about kobes teammates being lightyears ahead of lebrons

but these playoffs to this point have proven lebron is the clear cut best player

game 7 or the next round may change that but as of right now its undeniable
