A Chicago man ordered to serve 21 years in prison for robbing NBA star Antoine Walker has been sentenced to another 21 years for holding up New York Knicks center Eddy Curry.

The 30-year-old Larkins and 27-year-old Demorris Hill were charged with robbing Curry after police apprehended the two in the July 9, 2007, holdup of Walker at his Chicago home. Larkins was sentenced in the Walker case on Tuesday.

Wait, he already had one 21-year sentence, but gets another 21-years for another incident? 42 years for robbery? How did he go about doing the second crime if he was serving the first 21-year sentence? Sucks for him.

When a criminal gets convicted and he gets time, they generally serve 1/3 of it.

That's why you hear all these multiple life sentences handed down. its to insure that they never get out. If the guy got 21 years last time, he'll generally serve 7 and for good behavior and parole hearings he could get out even earlier.

Either way, yeah, 21 years for gunpoint robbery and stealing from a person sounds absolutely justified to me.

Anyone else read the thread title and first think someone robbed food and got 21 years?

Then I realized it was in NBA Talk. Haha.

fido, oi think you mean 2/3 of the sentence. 21 gets you 14-16 years...trust me
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

I had the thirds wrong, my fault.
