I didn't get a good look at what made Artest go off, but if Kobe elbowed him in the neck you can't blame him for getting upset. Kobe's elbows already have a history. Even though he's not trying to hurt anyone on the court, in the books I've read about Kobe's life they've said his father taught him stuff like that.

It was an elbow to the neck.

Kobe's elbow is nothing new, it's just physical play/strategy. If it was a call against Kobe Artest wouldn't have been as upset, but the call + the elbow got the best of his temper.

Either way that was a sick [expletive] hit by D-Fish. He sent a good message that the rest of the team was to scared to do.

....that's what I said.

Ron Ron had his elbow on Kobe's neck before anything even happened....that's probably the foul that got called.

Kobe did clear out with the elbow....but he was focused on the rebound.

Knowing Stu Jackson, Kobe is possibly suspended for that.

Fish definitely suspended....but I think he took one for the team there and sent a message to that punk Scola.

Well for anyone who thinks Artest was dumb for what he did, I hope you listened to his explanation after the game. You gotta be rational about stuff like this.

His explanation was utterly nonsensical...and if I was a Rocket fan I would be incensed that he's one of the leaders of that team.

kobe is not suspended because he didnt do it on purpose, fish showed clearly that he wanted to knock someone on his [expletive].

Oh lord, please explain why you think that. I don't wanna make any assumptions and write a long post and end up being wrong.

Fish made it count too....he deserves our props for one of the best non-football hits I've seen in a while. When a little guy takes out a big guy like that...especially one that was getting ready to set another illegal hard pick...it definitely sends a message. The Rockets basically pussed out after that and the Ron Ron could do was have a conniption after Kobe gave him a taste of his own medicine.
