THAT WAS INSANE! BUT DAMN, ANDERSON, WHAT A CLOWN. CAUGHT UP TO HIM.

Just like Overeem against Big Foot.

& also, you can tell the passion just quite isn't there anymore for Spider by hearing his post-fight interview.

Guess this too makes it way less likely, probably impossible for us to ever see a Spider vs Bones.

Anderson doesn't even want the rematch nor does he wanna' fight for any belts he said. Clearly he has other interests now such as focusing more on his family as he said & settling down more.

It's too bad, but that just happens with a lot of athletes in a lot of sports. After reaching a certain amount of success, it's hard to stay as hungry as after a while it's just not the same anymore and or nor is one willing to do what it takes to stay on top as dedicated as before.

It's also disappointing cause I think clearly Anderson still has a lot to give, but at the end of the day, it's on him and when a fighter decides they're just not as hungry anymore as Anderson sadly seems to be stating, it's ultimately we the fans who suffer & are robbed of more future potentially classic matches.

The part where it sucks the most is he just got too careless, but he can definitely destroy Weidman without his in ring shenanigans. Like he did on the second Sonnen fight.

Yea of course I thought that he could have won this if he would have took it serious. He was stopping the takedowns.

But seriously, if you're a big fan of Anderson, not only are you incredibly disappointed about this loss and especially moreso the way it happened (mainly Silva's own fault), but knowing his state of mind after the fight. Doesn't want a rematch, hardly any passion, wants to settle down, doesn't wanna' fight for belts anymore. I mean damn, that's gotta' suck if you're a fan. Jump on the Jon Jones bandwagon?

Yea i'm disappointed. but I do understand that he was losing interest in fighting tho u could tell. i mean he is 38. It sucked because he got KO'd and didnt take it serious tho. Jones was my 2nd fav after Silva been on the bandwagon when he came into the game.

Surprisingly, this isn't the most shocking thing that has ever happened in MMA. The Fedor-Werdum fight is still the greatest shocker for all MMA fans.

Yes. lol. I had $500 on Fedor that night. God damn it. But you didn't really see that coming in a sense of Fedor being really cautious. Who would have thought he'd jump in Werdum's guard. Silva on the other hand, drops his guard.. That's just a disaster waiting to happen.

No I'm not saying Fedor is better than Silva or its the other way around. Both are GOATS. But the Werdum fight shocked the living [expletive] outta everyone in the world.

Well I agree and it's even more obvious for the simple fact that it was Fedor's first ever loss. Up until that point, he looked like a man out of this world. Couldn't be touched.

^ talked about eight years of invincibility. He didn't just fight weak heavyweights. He fought the legends, and beat them in their primes. Back then, the HW is more stacked in Pride than the UFC.

If there's no rematch, please make Hendo fight Weidman.

Silva was really off last night. Damn, got too careless. He was like he has 10 more fights but he's not chasing any belts. maybe he'll be tripping and climb LHW and HW( ) and fight everyone?

Not a big fan of Bones. He's got length and great standing up. But I don't like his usual takedown/relentless elbow strikes style. UFC should remove elbow strikes on the ground. It spoils the fight due to cuts.

I like Machida and Shogun more.

silva looked bored and seemed like he wanted nothing with the belt. Doubt he wanted to lose that way but it felt like Silva was just fooling around but oh well a loss is a loss i guess.

i always wanted to see Silva lose but not like this felt like he beat himself. Something was off he was letting himself get hit doubt he threw the fight but I think he wanted to get rid of the belt.
