I got Stann, Skyscraper, Sanchez, and Okami. Not a good day for the old Pride guys.

^ Wouldn't expect any different from Lyoto though right? He is who he is.
That might be the least aggressive I've ever seen him in the octagon.
Good thing there's a free card in a few days.
I got Stann, Hunt, Sanchez, & Lombard.

I didn't see the Hendo/Machida fight, but Machida was very conservative in the fights I watched him in before the Thiago Silva fight. I wouldn't be shocked if he's trying to get back to that. He's won all his fights easily when fight like that. I would still favor Bones in that scenario, but it would be closer. I think it would go the distance.

Awesome slugfest between Stann & Silva. Much respect for Stann to stand & trade with Wand.
Hunt is a hard hitting mofo!

Dana should've pushed to have that fight made at a catch weight. Even if I could have been a one & done thing for Cyborg.

^ I agree, but I think Dana is more concerned about protecting his huge money-maker & draw right now in Rousey even if he obviously won't admit it, but money talks big time.

There's a lot of excitement over GSP/Diaz, but I see a one-sided victory for GSP. He's gonna take him down at will and GnP.

Diaz's BJJ is superior than most of welterweights with the exception of Shields/Maia. Stand up game favors Diaz as he is a great boxer.

Machida was fighting Hendo. It only takes one shot for him to get KTFO. That's why he had to fight conservative since it's nearly impossible to take Hendo down to the ground plus his chin is legendary. Survived Fedor/Silva/Franklin/Shogun/Wanderlei/Babalu/Rampage. The fight was bound to be boring. Hahaha

And GSP easily beat Shields. He knows how to neutralize Jiu-Jitsu from the bottom. Shields/Penn didn't do anything from the bottom.
Diaz is gonna be so scared of being taken down at one point that GSP is going to have success standing too. Diaz does have better stand up, but GSP neutralizes that by getting so many take downs earlier in the fight that good stand up fighters end up being very defensive. That's what he did to Alves.
That's what GSP does. He destroys people with his wrestling, and gets people so scared of that that he then is able to take advantage in other areas.

He beats Shields on the stand up game. True he neutralized him by not bringing Shields down most of the time and lay and pray him. Shields is never known for his striking. He made GSP's striking (which is as stiff as Clinton's dick) look like Anderson Silva. Penn is a different thing, GSP was caught getting greased on which is why Penn couldn't get a decent hold on him on the ground. GSP dominated him though. His wrestling is phenomenal though, BJJ is good.. but Diaz's BJJ is better, possesses a sick ground game off his back. His wrestling isn't good but he makes it up with his ground game.
I have GSP winning this one via lay and pray. Bringing Diaz down, and just holding him down there til the end like what Shields does.

LOL at GSP destroying people. His last 5 wins have been by decision. 7 of his last 10 the same way.
UFC is so great at building up & hyping fights. Unfortunately, we've all seen this movie before, we know how it ends.
I look forward to the Condit-Hendricks match up.

Destroy as in dominate. Nobody has stopped GSP from taking them down. His wrestling is so dominant that it feeds into other parts of his game. I think it's part of the reason why good strikers don't strike as well against him and good jiu-jitsu guys don't out-grapple him.
Most of the fight will be spent on the ground with GSP on top, but I think he does some damage. I don't think he lays and prays. He just doesn't come close to finishing people. He tries to pass guard and land some GnP.
In the sense the GSP will win a dominant decision because of his wrestling, I guess I agree. He's not the most exciting fighter, but he easily beats people. That's what I'm calling destroying.
Hendricks/Condit should be the best fight. I'm hoping Hendricks wins just because it would make the UFC put together a match that makes sense. They haven't done that a lot recently.

Shame that the Hendricks-Condit fight wasn't 5 rounds.
Sometimes I wish the co-main event was 5 rounds as well.
A lot of the time the co-main event is more exciting than the main event.

Sounds like Diaz is retiring.
GSP classy as always.
