searched the forum and came up with no results for "starcraft". any of you guys out there planning to get starcraft 2? i cant wait to get the game but the release date seems to be a mystery.

Yeah, definitely getting it, but Blizzard is always mysterious with their release dates even after releasing trailer after trailer.

i want SC:2, but i'm not sure if my cpu can handle it lol. i want it too, but i want the item things/hero like WC3. you can make more UMS games like that imo.

Observer modes in Starcraft II
Reporters from Fomos were given a 45 minute timewindow to preview to check out the latest Starcraft 2 updates. Special attention went to the seven observer modes the game currently supports. When in observer mode you will have the following options available to you:
- None mode: No menus will be shown.
- Resources mode: Shows resources gathered by players, as well as their supply count.
- Spending mode: Shows where and how much the players are spending on these 3 areas: economy, tech and army.
- Unit mode: Shows the units’ icons and how many units the players have in numerical figures.
- Production mode: Shows what units and buildings that are being built, and once they are built, they will be removed from the menu.
- Army mode: Shows amount of minerals and gas spent on the units.
- APM mode: Shows players’ APM (Action-per-Minute).

No...my friend knows someone who is working for Blizzard and on SC2.
We hung out today and I was told I could get in.
But what will suck is I may not have the money and time to upgrade and play the game.
So I don't know if I should get the beta. Since they really want players who can give feedback.

i can't friggin wait for this, this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long!! i've played starcraft, mainly a protoss user. i believe they are SC2's main protagonist in campaign ayt? ever since blizzard was stuck with Starcraft i switched to warcraft3FT, DOTA is great
