Thanks for the link. I am liking the DHB pick. If you are drafting a skill position, you might as well go all in, right?

Yes, but not with the 7th overall pick. Why didn't they trade the 7th pick for a late first round pick and a future first round pick?

The Raiders are notorious for two things: Not trading down, and not drafting a guy who doesn't have a 40 posted. The Giants were trying to trade up for DHB and Al must have been concerned of maybe having them jump them, if he even considered trading down.

If that's your guy, go get him. DHB was projected from 15-25. Tyson Jackson was projected from as early as Denver at 12 till the 20's. Of course, that isn't a reach, because Pioli, a former Billichick made the move.

I like this pick a lot more than DMC last year.

yeah but thats the same arguement TO gives why do i get negative treatment over other guys

the answer is its earned

Al Davis has earned his reputation while pioli has earned his thats why. it is a double standard but a deserving one. also where is this stuff about the giants trying to trade-up the only news out of new york is they were trying to trade to 20 to grab maclin

and DHB may end up being a solid pick but al davis' recent draft history says he should have probably went safer with crabtree but one thing i will give Al is he cares not one bit what people think of how he runs his organization

the big test is how DHB handles all the jokes and negative press hes getting even though its not his fault its still happening

he can either fold or put the chip square on his shoulder and use it

All Pioli has shown us is that he knows how to alienate the veterans in the locker.

And Al has gone with the "smart" picks. Gallery in 04 was supposed to be a great Tackle for the next 15 years. Huff was supposed to be a great ball hawk with Ed Reed capabilities. Of course, neither turned out to be half of that. Gallery is a great Guard though.
