I thought that was kind of funny, to be honest.

Best way to shut those guys up is to come out and prove them wrong. Still don't know what the [expletive] Oakland was thinking taking him in that spot. Terrible decision.

It's funny to make fun of the guy in front of his family, national TV, and right before his interview? They were also laughing during his interview.

Don't make fun of him and call him a bust, when it's not his fault he was drafted by the Raiders.

Both are right in what they say about him, but they shouldn't have said that on live TV, and laughing at him during the interview was pretty bad.

I'm pessimistic when it comes to the Raiders...but I sure do hope to God that DHB becomes Jerry Rice.

the pick wouldn't be as puzzling if oakland knowing they wanted a guy who was going to fall to the 20s easily if not 30s did the smart thing and traded the pick to someone wanting crabtree or raji or monroe trading back and gathering more picks

thats what i don't get its not so much the player but why didn't al davis do what bill belicheck or andy reid would have done which is trade back for maybe a mid 20 pick, a next year 1st or another 2nd rounder and maybe a helpful player

makes no sense to me they could have gotten DHB and another 2nd rounder or 1st next year and there would be no laughing and joking

Dilfer was the QB for the 2000 Baltimore Ravens team that won the Super Bowl. There have been far worse QB's than him.

He was still a bust.

6th overall pick by the Bucks in 1994.

I don't think you can be considered a bust if you are the QB of a Super Bowl winning team.

A bust would be Ryan Leaf.

true, but dilfer just rode the ravens defense which was being considered "steel curtain" defense during the time and let jamal run the ball a majority of the time ... he didnt put up stats nor did he do ANYTHING his entire career
