Because of what I said earlier.

Pau Gasol is GONE

Yeah but... Don't you prefer them to have a long series?

Ideally, I would like the series to go seven games but I don't want the Trailblazers.

In any case, we're supposed to be potential championship team...so it shouldn't matter who we play.

Way to keep it simple. Portland would be better for the lakers manhood while the rockets would be better if they want to win the title. Bring on the Rockets!!!

Great that Portland won last night to make the series 3-2. Hopefully it goes 7. Lakers should be well rested to start round 2.

Those were my thoughts too. If it goes seven they would start the series next Tuesday and that is over a week. I don't like to much rest. I hope they play Sunday.

I doubt either series goes more than 5 games. Lakers won't lose at home to either, and they'll pick up a game on the road from either. Rockets might be a sweep, Portland probably not. But it won't be as close as people fear, even if it's Portland.

It´s all about matchups in playoffs. We matchup very well with Houston, and the Blazers give us fits every time we play them. Bring on the Rockets!

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Kobe is a natural competitor and wants only the best from his opponents. I, on the other hand, prefer the easiest path to the championship. Sure we're the best team in the west, but why take the risk? The lesser the risk, the more sleep I will get.

Kobe is good and I don't mean just as a bball player. If he said he wanted Houston then he would be saying to his teammates "I dont' feel confident in us playing Portland". By saying he wanted Portland he protects his team from running scared and tells them we can beat anyone. He wants to send a message to his team, other teams, etc.. that the lakers are ready for whomever.

I think Kobe is lying when he says he wants Portland. I TOTALLY SUPPORT KOBE IN THIS LIE.
