I cant wait. This is going to be great to kill H-Town. Lake Show in 6.
Artest will be held in check. Houston can keep imagining that they're better in the absence of T-Mac. But against a team like the Lakers its going to show what a huge liability not having him on the court actually is. Expect Drew to be back in defensive form vs. Yao/ Yao wont run around the key like Boozer does. Yao is a conventional stay down in the post center who rarely uses the pick and rolls. They have no answer for Pau. And Shannon....I just cant wait to see what else this cat can do....He's awesome so far.

And the TrailFaders....RipCity....lol. It really will be RIP after 5 games. I'm not worried at all about them. Let Roy have his 40 points or whatever. Theres nobody else...Rudy Fernandez is great, but he wont be able to handle Lamar or KB.

edit: Added Poll.

I hope it's the Rockets we'll be facing in the 2nd round.

why not? we beat Utah in Utah and its almost impossible to win there..I think were more than capable of taking a playoff game in Portland.

Because we always get raped in Portland. Portland is also a better offensive team than the Rockets are.

I don't know about all that. When was the last time we even won in Portland?

The Playoffs are a different story. There's no way we'll lose 3 games in Portland. And we actually have a good record at their house in playoff history.

I would much rather play the rockets. The lakers play with much more confidence against the rockets than the blazers and the matchups are much better.

5 games if it's against the Rockets, 6 against the Blazers.

Utah series is still not over I'd like to remind everyone.

But if we get to the 2nd round whatever team it is I see the Lakers winning in 5. Before the playoffs started I said that the Lakers were going to win every series in 5 games because no team in the leauge this year is good enough to beat us twice.

We swept Houston this year, so I don't think it'd be too hard to take care of them.

Kobe is going to be PUMPED to play either team though.

The whole thing with Artest this year, then after the Portland game when asked if he'd like to see the Blazers in the playoffs he said "I'd [expletive]ing love it."

GO LAKERS
