The lack of a contract extension was a big reason why Jason Kidd wanted to leave New Jersey, but rumor has it that there is no talk of him getting one in Dallas either.
"It's just business," Kidd said of New Jersey. "We had a great run. Sometimes, with moves, business gets in the way. The sad thing is, nobody there is left from when we started the whole thing. I guess you could say they're starting over."
