Terms of the deal were not disclosed but the Denver Post is reporting that it is for one year and worth $998,000.
Denver traded away the two-time Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Camby to the Los Angeles Clippers on July 15, and are hoping Andersen can help fill the void in the frontcourt.
The 6-10 Andersen played his first three seasons with the Nuggets and has career averages of 5.0 points and 4.7 rebounds over his six-year career.
The “Birdman” was suspended for two years for violating the league’s substance abuse policy before returning to the New Orleans Hornets last season, playing in five games. [Yahoo Sports]

That's not what your username suggests.
Anyone remember Birdman's 56,435,546 dunk attempts during the Slam Dunk Contest a few years back? Something I would like to forget.

LOL! remember when he was in the dunk contest? How many tries did he take? 74?I'm just glad to see the NBA's biggest trainwreck back in the league.

If he says away from the Drugs, he can be a useful player.
He is athletic
can rebound some
if his head stays in the game, he is a good backup
