6. He should have been the starter, and at age 28, nearing 29, he's not getting any younger, and needs to learn how to play consistently.

I also voted 6. He was awful earlier in the year, but has steadily been playing better as the season progressed. I still cringe whenever he takes a jumpshot, but, thankfully, he's been looking for his teammates 99% percent of the time. Oh, and props to him in asking to be relegated to the bench for the good of the team.

8. I think you look at how he's been in the past and you look at this year, and you have to say, this year was one of his best years. Most will disagree but I think he was huge for us this year.

Been solid. Has no unfulfilled potential and has done most things his talent and body have enabled him to this year. Fits the offense, great attitude and matches up great with certain offensive players so he's not an entire liability defensively. Still think he could work more on his jumper, so about average, a 7.

I'll give him a 6. At least he helped with the flow of the offense with our starters and probably one of the most unselfish players on our team. I still feel like every shot he takes is going to go wrong but sometimes he surprises me. Also that dunk on Ronny might have helped his grade.

I gave him a 7 also, his offensive presense are't good but he knows the system well and he gets more asts for a Laker.

8. he made an improvement compared to last year. he doesnt make ridiculous passes and miss wide open shots anymore (seems like he passed it on to jordan huh?) i think i can safely say that he plays a major role on the bench facilitating the offense. most of all, i really liked his attitude throughout this year. seems like all of the lakers are focused on winning the trophy

I gave him an 8, not because I thought he had a good season but made a steady increase from last season and because he asked Phil to bench him and let Ariza start, which led him to shine. He would of got a 5 from me if he didnt do that, I really respact that.

I gave him 9. Reason is simple - Luke was the guy that made the offense work when bench was on the floor. Even tho he jacked up some pointless shots, his assists and ball movement did the job.

Its not about how much they contributed to the team but how they performed this season in their own. What was expected and how they performed in their role.

There was already a part 3, this should be 4

I gave Shannon a 10 and Kobe an 8. That doesn't mean Brown is better than Kobe. Each person should be rated by their own standards and expectations. So Luke's rating has nothing to do with Kobe's or anyone else's.

I give him a 7 I guess.

Strong 7. Dude knows his role. He knows the offense. He plays scrappy D. Grabs boards. Every now and then he'll knock down a big J. Hes unselfish and even suggested to Phil that he be taken out of the starting 5 for Ariza so he could better help facilitate the 2nd unit when LO was starting in Drews absence. And at the time the second unit was hurting bad. Luke seemed to solve that problem and got them straight again. He makes mistakes, but so does KB. Everyone does. Atleast he accepts responsibility for his errors and trys to get better from them. I'm not a Luke fan, but dude did well this year in participating however he could for the benefit of the team.
