Hahaha, Dodgers still cant produce any offense with Manny. It is just one game, but it got to be disappointing.

First Game w/ Team:
Bay hits the game winner RBI for Boston in the 13th inning.
Griffey goes 2-3 with a 2 RBI single.
Manny finishes a possible game-winning at bat with a double play out.

Smooth...

He went 2-4 he was so horrible eh.

I think it's the money talking. Coletti still sees something in him. I have a hard time believing Joe hasn't tried to pull him out of the line-up.

Yeah, you make a good point. You're probably right, Joe can't possibly be that dumb.

Yeah, great job... The 2-4 really helped them Dodgers out, clutch singles. Woot. If the team wasn't sucking so bad, I wouldn't say anything. Like I said before its one game, but it didn't look good last night.
I need to finish my summer homework. DAMMMMMNNNN

No doubting Matt Kemp has been playing great, but he is no Manny.

I do believe Kemp is our future.

would you like to comment on the last two games now?

Lets compare the three players after their first three games with their new teams shall we?

Griffey - 3 for 7, 2 RBI's, .429 BA, leaves third game with cramp.

Bay - 4 for 11, 1 Homerun, 3 RBI's, .364 BA

Manny - 8 for 13, 2 Homerun's, 5 RBI's, .615 BA

All three are performing good, but Manny is performing great :D

i been looking at the schedule for the diamondbacks and the dodgers, the dodgers have to play the cardinals and the phillies. and arizona gets to play pittsburgh. now that is cheap. lets hope the dodgers can win those series.

i think we need to call up blake dewitt to replace jeff kent, that foo left 4 guys on base, blake always seem to get clutch hits

Jeff Kent is showing his age, Hit seems like he can't catch up to any pitch over 88mph

Blake DeWitt hasn't gotten the chance to play too much 2b, give him time to learn the position. In the mean time, Chin Lung Hu would be great for 2b

Sure Hu doesn't have a great bat, but we don't really lose anything in the trade off (Kent benched and Hu playing) but we get a HUGE defensive boost.
As it stands, our infield defense is pretty poor. Casey Blake has bad range, Berroa had really bad range, and Jeff Kent has TERRIBLE range.
Have you guys noticed how anything hit up the middle is a base hit? We lack the range for it

Also, add on top of the poor infield defense....since Joe Torre is determined to keep Ethier on the bench, we have Pierre at Centerfield (need I talk about that?), Manny in LF, and Kemp in RF. Its fairly below average outfield defense...just a something to note. good thing our Pitching is so good
