As the topic title asks, of all the NBA players, who's jumpshot would you jack, or be able to perfectly emulate?

I would definitely take Carmelo's jumper over anyone else's in the NBA. It is sooooooooooo smooth and pretty. Pretty damn efficient in the clutch, too. ;)

If you play 2k9, play a game with the Denver Nuggets and watch Melo's shot. It's freaking gorgeous.

Back in high school, I modeled my basketball game after Kobe, TMac, Pierce, Ray Allen (for perimeter shots/moves) and R. Wallace and C. Webb (for post moves). My jumpshot looks like a mix between Kobe's and TMac's.

T-Mac is another dude who possessed a really smooth jumper. He made his shots look completely effortless somehow. It was amazing, really. Too bad he's declined so badly so quickly.

Kobe has a great jumper, obviously, but I don't think it's as pretty as Melo's.

I've always tried to copy Kobe's. It probably doesn't look close to it but him and T-Mac's were the ones I've always watched. I always thought Ray Allen had a weird shot despite being so accurate.

His release is so quick and beautiful, despite the fact that he's a Celtic.

Yeh, it is pretty nice to watch. Just for some reason I could never imitate it. It almost looks like he flicks both wrists while shooting and that kind of throws my shot off.

Kobe has the best looking jumpshot by far IMO. The elevation, the release... Everything... Simply beautiful :)

^ Kobe's 65-point game... Perfect example of the beauty of Kobe's jumpshot. 3:58 mark --> one of the most beautiful jumpshots I've ever seen...

I have the most awkward shot on my highschool team. I keep my elbow out and I bring the ball back to far over my head apparently. I dont see how its so awkward, pisses me off when they say [expletive]. Whenever I see an awkward shot I just say I shoot like them, since I dont really know who I look
