So it's either Blazers or Rockets in the 2nd round. See beezee's posts for clarification.

I guess we won't see Portland in 2nd round if they beat Nuggets tonight.

Hate to say it, but go Blazers. We'll kill you in the WCF instead of the second round.

i would like to see LA v Portland in the WCF again so we can break their sorry hearts once again. That is why they hate us so much and treat every Laker game like it's the super bowl

i wouldn't be too cocky about portland, we haven't won there in a very long time, and we play there twice a year...not to say they couldn't pull it out in a series, and obviously we have homecourt, but i'm just sayin, don't think its a sweep

Blazers are 4th or 5th no matter what right now. They win, they're 4th and will face Houston. They lose, they're 5th and will face Houston.

Don't they get ahead of San Antonio if they win? Nuggets Spurs and Blazers will tie for 2nd spot. So it'll be Spurs vs Rockets.

Fans don't have to take it one game at a time. It won't make a lick of difference on how the team performs.

If blazers win, it'll be a 3-way tie with Blazers, SA, and Denver. Blazers and Denver own the tie-breaker with SA, making SA the 4th seed if Blazers win tonight.

Already explained to you in the PM why you're wrong.

Because it's a 3-way tie, the division winners (in this case, Denver & San Antonio) are ahead in the standings regardless of head-to-head records. If it was just between San Antonio and Denver, then yes, Portland would be the #3 seed. But the 3-way tie throws that off.

Blazers are the 4 seed if they win, 5 seed if they lose.

Yea you're right. So blazers or rockets. I didn't think the division winner overruled the tiebreaker. I just thought they were guaranteed a top 4 spot.
