Raptors forward Shawn Marion doesn't like talking about his pending free agency, but it is apparent that he wants to play for a winner.

He has played for three teams in the last 18 months.

"It's been rough for me," Marion said. "It's been a lot of different things for the last 16 months. But it is what it is, it's cool. You live and you learn.

"I hope it just makes me a better player."

The only real comment that Marion would make to the Tornoto Star about his upcoming free agency is that he loves to win games.

"I like to win games," Marion said. "Nobody likes to lose games and I'm a winner."

when that trade happened i was dissapointed and shocked

I knew from there everything would go down hill for the suns
and it has as i expected

i hope marion does go to a successful team but less successful than the lakers
or the lakers
Im still a Trevor Ariza Fan, Thanks For The Championship.

Would you take marion, hill, iverson, jermaine o'neal,j. kidd for minimum fees
I feel like we will lose Mbenga,Powell, and Brown to free agency anyway, and sun yue will be dropped, so if we could pick two, who would you take?
Me, for chemistry purposes Kidd and hill, plus they are true vets who deserve rings IMO
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

He wants to play for a winner but the other thing he wants is to get paid. I predict he plays for a middle of the road to losing team and collects some cash.

Should've stayed with the Suns.

Not like it was up to him to get traded to Miami.

^It's no secret he already wanted out...

Marion wanting to win... LMAO that's pure comedy... He was [expletive]ing left and right when he was on a winning situation... Dude realized that his game is exposed without Steve Nash...

Good luck with winning and that max contract you wanted... Don't want this tool in P&G... I hope he end up playing for the Queens or something...

Wasn't him who wanted out of PHX because he didn't want to be playing in the shadows of Nash and Stat? He can't be the star of a team and expect to win. If he has gotten over being the 2nd or 3rd option, he can still contribute a fair bit.

The Clippers would not be stupid throwing money his way.

The whole play for a winner thing may get in the way though.
