After losing 125-112 to the Lakers on Tuesday night, Jazz coach Jerry Sloan isn't very optimistic about the team's chances should the two teams meet in the playoffs.

"We didn't give them much of a battle, knowing we have to play them again," said Sloan. "It looks pretty bleak...

"They have a terrific team. They have guys who can pass the ball, do about anything you ask a team to do. They've got guys who can make big shots, who just know how to play the game, make the game look simple...

"We're just like a little dent in the road, far as they're concerned. They're very comfortable playing against us and obviously should be."

Ever feel like you have a meaning in this world, at your job or your norm. every day activities? I kinda think Sloan was put into the NBA and Utah to get beat by Phil Jackson EVERY time they faced off.

One of the biggest reasons I bought the Lakers was to beat the Celtics …..you just got it into your soul that you couldn't stand the Celtics anymore
