Bill is very informative, guys. Some things I've learned from him during games this season ...

Pau Gasol is #16.
He plays for the Spanish national team.

Kobe is 6'6", 220.

So very wrong. Kobe wasn't playing within D'Antoni's system, this was just the Lakers running their offense through Kobe alone relegating Nash to playing off ball. D'Antoni and Nash both acknowledged after the game that they had gone to something completely different from what they were doing prior to Friday against Utah. This isn't even close to being D'Antoni's system, I'm not sure why you would even think that:

Kobe's been the number one passing SG and was always main facilitator of all Laker teams.

The only reason that dropped this year was because Nash was thought to be the one to do that and use Kobe off ball. It didn't work out. Now Kobe is back to being mnain facilitator and because of the talent surrounding him he's had 14 14 and 11 assists. Kobe has ALWAYS passed. He's been main facilitator since the triangle days. In fact even with his assist numbers down because he's been off ball most of this year there's only 2 people in the league(not point guards) that avg more assists than him. Lebron and Harden.

So even playing off ball, only lebron and harden average more assists per game than Kobe... And now being main facilitator Kobe if he stays on pace will be in the top 10 11th at least in assists in the league...

I've criticized Bill McDonald for years, much more when he became announcer for the Lakers last year. Guy is a horrible announcer plain and simple.

what was he asking for that was so eye-opening? considering we had just bagged a 3 billion dollar TV deal, i figured money wouldn't be an issue. just like the rest of this year, we've had to make due with sub-par Laker employees. thanks Jim!

^ He couldn't be there for all the games. He wanted to still be able to do other games from other sports as well and the Lakers' schedule wouldn't allow him to apparently. Lakers wanted all in or nothing from him and he wasn't willing to go all in.

Funny how they thought it was so terribly called when we have a much stronger argument, especially towards the end of the game.

- Clark getting called for goal tending on what was clearly a clean block.

- No backcourt violation on the Pistons' imbound pass? He was clearly back court. Easy call.

- The longest 5 seconds I've ever seen when the Pistons were imbounding for that last play. I even replayed it and watched the ref. I twas like 1.5 seconds each time he counted a second with his arm.

Nets are giving Lakers way to much respect again, we have the better record we should have the confidence. Just like the game in Nov they think the lakers are a top team. When NEts play top teams they get scared.
