Haha, gotta' love Joel. Miss him over Billy Mac. He wasn't spectacular or anything either, but compared to Billy Mac..Can Joel Meyers love for Kobe be more transparent ?

Did they really think they had a chance tonight? lol, but really Pelicans have a nice developing core of Gordon, Davis, and Anderson. They still have some missing pieces but could probably contend for a 6th/7th seed in the future.

Well to be fair, as bad as their record is, they had reason to be at least somewhat confident based off of the way they've been playing lately. They' been hot.Did they really think they had a chance tonight?

1. What exactly is a laker?
2. Why should I fear them?
3. How can I fear something that doesn't exist?
4. What do lakers have to do with Los Angeles?
5. What do lakes have to do with Los Angeles?
6. Why should I fear a lake? At least an ocean can produce a tsunami. What can a lake do?
7. Pelicans can divebomb into lakes and eat ducklings and fish that swim in them. So we obviously don't fear them.
Just remember these points whenever a Lakers fan says something about Pelicans.
A Laker will go around and conquer all the other teams.
To my understanding, The Lakers were first the Minneapolis Lakers, named after the land of 10,000 lakes. A Laker is vessel that goes and conqueres all of the lakes.
Metaphor painted, all of the other lakes in the league are getting conquered. 16 championships, 31 finals appearances. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Why would the Pelicans NOT think they had a shot last night? They are playing pretty well, they have multiple shooters, a decent PG and young legs. All things that give the Lakers trouble. And but for a non-call on Earl Clark for a 3 second violation, they would have had a shot to tie the game with under a minute to play.
