Your argument would have been more legit if you said that Indiana was the birthplace of the Klan(which it is). But not going to basketball games? No..bad argument.

May be because Indiana is a grind it out blue collar team and aren't "crowd pleasing" and don't really have a superstar.

You do know the Lakers were going to draft George Hill, but the Spurs grabbed him right in front of them, so they went with Farmar as a backup plan.

 

I would love to see George Hill in L.A. at some point.

Spurs fans write this [expletive] because they're scared...And I would be too. Hell,if we gain more momentum and tinker some things a bit more,we'll be the scariest 8 seed in the history. But that kinda eliminates one another,because if we play that great,we'll end up being 6th or 7th. In either case,give us the Spurs!

Spurs fans are scared to play anyone. The playoffs never look good for them. They get upset so much it's not even referred to as an upset anymore. It's just, oh spurs, they won 60 games but lost in the first or second round again.

Yeah, the spurs have had some disappointing playoff moments since they won their last championship in 2007.

 

2008: 3 seed, Lost in wcf. 

2009: 3 seed, Lost in first round

2010: 7 seed, Lost in second round

2011: 1 seed, Lost in first round

2012: 1 seed, Lost in wcf

 

By comparison, the Lakers - 

 

2008: 1 seed, Lost in finals

2009: 1 seed, Won championship

2010: 1 seed, Won championship

2011: 2 seed, Lost in second round

2012: 3 seed, Lost in second round.

 

Lakers clearly the best in the west the last 5 years, but on the way down. OKC is clearly the next powerhouse western conference team. The Spurs, meanwhile, have been a mess in the playoffs. It's understandable that their fans whine and moan about the Lakers, who are actually starting to put things together.

 

Not saying we are better than them or we will beat them in the playoffs, just saying they have a good reason to be scared.
