When the lakers are losing, they suck. When they come back and win, the game is rigged. Lol whatever.

The Hornets fans have one legitimate gripe and that's when Gordon was called for stepping out.

But even then, it was a tie game after you blew a 25 point lead. Also it wasn't the refs fault your team missed 12 consecutive shots.

Lakers came back, Hornets choked. That's how it goes.

Like I say when people around here blame the refs - blaming the refs is the first resort of the second rate.

When its kobe he gets cheated 3-5 times per gm where he is allowed to be fouled in post &or on his shot. D12 gets hit on wrists and arms in post causing many of his t.o. this is reality every gm win or lose for la. Plus bull fouls they call on d12 touch 1s.

It's not right that Kobe is still beasting. This guy is almost 35. He's supposed to be washed up. We think Richard Jefferson is old. He's like 3 years younger than Kobe. It seems like Kobe has started to dunk on people lately, viciously. I mean he's dunkin on Josh Smith and Brook Lopez. His dunking days are supposed to be done.

The guy is on steroids and the Lakers wouldn't make the playoffs if it weren't for him juicing like he's Lance Armstrong. Obviously, you can tell he has an angry look in his eyes lately. Seriously, he looks like he's going to explode and punch a dude, it creeps me out. He already has recovered from that injury from yesterday. Nothing stops him from going off. He goes on 20 to 0 runs against the Hornets. Game winning basket, another dunk.

The only reason the league is letting him fly under the radar is so they can make money. Of course they're gonna go after little fish like Turgoglu. That way the ''nobodies'' as Howard would say, won't be competitive with the big dogs.

Get used to it. Modern medicine and training methods can help athletes with their longevity. Just look at Bernard Hopkins and Randy Couture. For modern athletes, the 40's are the new 30's.
Modern medicine as in PED's. Kobe is supposed to be done. He cheats.

Celtics fans on The Lakers Beating The Pelicans

the hornets are spanking the lakers!

Do you hear that sound? It's another nail in the coffin of the lakers' playoff hopes.

Given that the Jazz have already lost tonight its not that dire.

no, but every loss helps

Kobe has 19 points and 11 assists in the second half. Holy Cow

Seriously Hornets?!!!

That was one of the most embarrassing plays I've ever seen.

Yup they blew it. LA will be 1.5 out now. Ruined my night.

Orlando Magic and New Orleans Hornets...saddest teams in the NBA.

You both stupid ass team.

What the ****...

biggums.png

lol I just watched the clip about 5 times in a row. That was genius! bowdown.gif

Roids are for cheaters

hornets were tanking.

Thy need to sign a veteran player in the off season. Hornets needs a leader.

On the trick play that lead to the Kobe breakaway dunk...

Were the Hornets players high?

biggums.pngbiggums.pngbiggums.pngbiggums.pngbiggums.pngbiggums.pngbiggums.pngbiggums.png

in 20 years of watching the NBA i haven't seen anything like that roll.gif

I lost it when this happened.

Love the youtube comments.

Go home Hornets, you are drunk laugh.giflaugh.gif

That play doesn't make any sense. No defense would ever defend an inbounds play like that.

iz9a2a.jpg
 That's just... I don't even...

Weirdest play of the year.

Hornets roll.gifroll.gifroll.gif

It's called tanking the season. The Warriors did this last season. They had games in hand and just gave them away. Sad. Am sure laker fans are thrilled, this is actually sad.

I can't believe the Hornets coach didn't pick up on that. No reason to have all 5 of your guys in the Lakers back court. Wow, who ever their coach is, he should be fired.

...

SO disappointed at Monty Williams facepalm.gif

Nothing wrong with blaming the refs - refs stink.

But this was blowing an 18 pt lead in the 4Q and 25 over-all.

Kobe and Meeks hit shots and Dwight played great D.

Blame Monty for not devising a strategy to get Dwight more fouls.  Dwight played an intelligent defensive 4Q.

Pre Game

It'd be hilarious if we completely killed the Lakers high and beat them in their own house. That would severely damage their shot at making the playoffs. Trolling my friends who are Lakers fans is a lot of fun, they get so angry.

It's a Friday night!

Winnable game by the way, but I expect crooked officiating.

Tonight's key matchups, presented by Zalgiris:
DD vs Kobe, home town boy vs home town legend
JV vs D12, fan vs hero
Kyle vs Steve, signee vs wanna sign
Rudy vs Ron, most interesting man in the world vs dirtiest player in the league

Raptors suck big time last 2 weeks, Lakers - one of the hottest teams
Raptors 9-22 on the road, Lakers 20-11 at home
Raptors could end season today, no motivation at all; Lakers are motivated like never before, going after 8th spot
Lets be realistic, we don't stand a chance, our second unit could be a game decider if Casey wasn't so horrible.
I bet old Kobe will keep on playing while DC benches our young starters one after another without a reason

Game

Gotta play better defence... cant do this running game back and forth...

especially with a 4th Q beast in Kobe

Bench gonna [expletive] it upjack_armstrong2_zps808c777f.png

Oh man we are playing really good D tonight. Hope we can keep this up for the rest of the game

[expletive] off Nash.

Some hints to Raps:
Gay: You cant shoot threes so stop trying
Lowry: Nash has some offensive skills, you need to defend him
JVal: Dont go 3 feet or nearer to Dwight, you will get called for a foul otherwise
In general: You have DD who is 8-10 in the game, give him a shot every half an hour or so

DD is having a great game, but Kobe is getting hot. Need to do a better job in defending the screen and roll.

rudy looking at the ref, kobe drives, pathetic swipe at the ball by rudy instead of going infront of him. whos yammering when you have 50 thousand posts

This will be a loss

In Lucas we trust?

I want a Raptors feed, this lakers one is annoying

Casey giggling with anderson and Lucas at the end of the third.. You know who's closing tonight?? Not jv

Begining of the end here, can smell it

Anderson face jack_armstrong2_zps808c777f.png

Anderson is gonna try to take kobe 1v1. 100$ on it

You watch, he'll come back in a 4pt game with 5:30 left when the momentum is all tilted to the Lakers and we'll be [expletive]ed. So predictable.

Wow freaking Kobe Bryant. Does it again...

How do you even let Kobe get that shot right there from the inbounds?

the refs are wearing RG down with their phantom calls

...and kobe seal the three to the OT

Kobe's been a Raptor killer for years....

Kobe kills everyone!

Kobe.
