Lol at that guy that said Kobe is useless now and his mouth is better than his play. Then in the fourth everyone was like "I HATE KOBE! But I have respect for him"

I love this thread so much. Just a question though, how do u find out which websites are the other team's fan's forums?

More Reactions

One more win please lakers. We can catchup up to 6th position

Not tonight

Hawks will win if they control the pace and play up tempo. Run the court.

Hawks playing like garbage right now facepalm.gif

Kobe just had a jumper blocked by Kyle Korver...shouldn't ISH go into meltdown/freakout mode?

Tolliver is such a bad player.

Lakers are raping facepalm.gif

This quarter is great example of why Dwight can't be your first option......he simply isn't a good offensive player.

Chuck away, Kobe.....chuck away.

Kobe looks like he is 29 again out there....remarkable.

Teague is looking terrible. When is bad he is really bad.

Down to another non playoff team, so frustrating

Dwight is legit setting picks with his ass......

Josh Smith has nearly as low of BBIQ as JR Smith. Both could be so good if they weren't such retards.

0-6 at the line is pretty hilarious too.

Does Smith have the lowest ball IQ in the league?

That's why you're not gettin a max contract smith. facepalm.gif

Josh Smith's perimeter defense on Kobe is actually pretty good...

And then...

Holy [expletive] maybe I spoke too soon facepalm.gif

:o :o :o

damn.. frobe dunk

OH MY GOD eek.gif

Kobe eek.gif

Josh Smith is like the worst clutch time player ever

Somewhere, 9erempire, KennethGriffin, Yao Ming's Foot, and Mr. Jabbar are orgasming.

How is that a foul?

LOL @ refs.

Was that not a foul on Howard? He clobbered Teague.

Hawks defense is a joke

Wow awful defense.
Still nice finish by Kobe though

Why did Josh Smith just stand there until the very last second?

Hawks have 0 help defence. Kobe was gonna take it to the rim with Al on him.

LOL Josh Smith is a clown

Larry Drew might be worse than Vinny when it comes to drawing up plays out of time-outs roll.gif

So fitting that it ends on a boneheaded play by J-Smoove, I'm ready to see somebody else overpay his dumb ass

Josh Smith is the worst facepalm.gif

Bryant with another game winner.

Pathetic

Lousy ****ers

Josh Smith. wtf.gif Horford lost the game for missing a wide open lay-up/dunk.

Worst loss of the season

The Hawks biggest accomplishment of this road trip?

Beating that [expletive]ty ass Utah team.

I can't handle this. I just can't... go on anymore like this.

Technically, the Lakers are only 1 game behind the Warriors because the Lakers will take them the 2 times they meet. And the Lakers own the tie-breaker.

I had to take a chill-pill. Watching the Lakers win like that was very bad for my health. I'm anxious and my body is trembling, hands are shaking. I can't chill. I'm not okay.

He then says...

Kobe shouldn't and can't play like he has, dunking like he has. It's not happening.

Either it's all an illusion or he's on steroids.

I might have an anxiety attack.

Pre-Game

Earl Clark was once thought of as a throw-in from the D12 trade but is now a crucial starter for a Lakers frontcourt depleted by the absence of Pau Gasol (plantar fascia tear) for a few more weeks and the loss of Jordan Hill (hip) for the season. Clark will draw dominating Dominican Al Horford, who has been en fuego of late. Nailing his second three-pointer at the conclusion of Friday night's listless 92-87 loss to Phoenix gave Horford 20 points for the eighth straight game. His seven rebounds against the Suns were the lowest in that string.

Josh Smith will need to play in the paint [/brokenrecord] against Metta World Peace, making the latter a post defender and hacker instead of a perimeter stopper. Smith planting himself outside the paint and shooting like he did against Phoenix (0-for-5 on threes) frees up MWP to shift to the Hawks' legitimate shooting threats, plug Jeff Teague's dribble-drives, or pick off passes to the interior. Antawn Jamison's "ole!" defense poses no problems for Smoove in the paint, either. Smith forcing his pal Howard to help on defense will free up Al for numerous mid-range jumpers and layups.

Teague will have free reign to challenge Dwight at the basket with Steve Nash at his heels. Look for the Lakers to relieve Nash with a more physically imposing Steve Blake, in lieu of Chris Duhon.

Did I forget anybody? Oh yeah, El Mamba Negro. Kobe Bean Bryant (35.0 PPG in his last 4 games) has had no problems finding his shots (career-high 47.2 FG%; 1.7 3FGAs, most in last 4 seasons), and improved his passing in the absence of Nash earlier in the season.

Kobe has been occasionally lax on the defensive end, so Kyle Korver, John Jenkins and DeShawn Stevenson will look to keep him active defensively. Look for a mix of Dahntay Jones, Stevenson (starting), Anthony Tolliver, and Smith to try and up Kobe's degree of difficulty on offense. Coach Larry Drew will be rotating a lot to minimize foul trouble against a team that, thanks to Kobe and Dwight, draw the second-most fouls per game in the NBA.

The good news for Atlanta is, while the Lakers get to the line a ton (27.4 FT attempts per game, 1st in the league), they struggle to make the shots when they get there (68.9 FT%, last in NBA). Securing those missed second shots will allow some run-and-gun opportunities for the Hawks.

Go Hawks! Vamos Halcones!

~lw3

GO HAWKS!!

Let's get back on the winning side!!

Gametime

Oh for six josh from line

Larry Drew getting killed tonight so far. Lakers an old slow team that gets murdered in transition. See their loss to Denver last week where Denver ran it down their throats and made 3s in transition. So what did LD do? Made sure we had a slow Center that is not an offensive threat out there eliminating our ability to run and shoot. Al's range would help pull Dwight out of the paint I would think too.

I'm not an LD hater just feel like he made some bad matchup choices tonight. At least so far. Still in 3rd.

Harris was hot and they took him out???!!!

if we lose, we lost on all the missed freebies

And the calls they give in Bryant's favor

That was sickening.

You can never rely on Josh to score.. NEVER.

How the heck Josh blew that possession. Man he is just blows my mind sometimes. Like seriously. Just run plays for Horford from now on. Grief that was a freaking win and we let it go

Man that was a tough loss!  LD is the mother f'n man when it comes to drawing up plays!!  I'm not blaming that last one on Josh as  after looking at it a few times the pass was a little hot coming in and by the time he caught it I believe he's already past the rim.  Maybe he could have flushed it, but I'm not sure.   That easy miss by Horf in the final 2 minutes at the rim really hurt and while Josh has certainly improved as a perimeter defender, he cannot guard Kobe 1-on-1 out there.  How it must feel for the Lakers to beat the Hawks and have the atmosphere like they just won the championship.

Sucks

How was that travel not called on Kobe? Then add a terrible foul call in the critical spot? Ugh.

old fashion atlanta choke job.

Have to agree that all of the missed FT's are the reason we lost this game...

This team is just a joke. I wish I wouldn't have ever became a fan.

Seems like just yesterday you were saying that during our 13 win season.

I feel no better about this team than I did that team.

They turned the ball over 21 times.... The Hawks out assisted and out shot them and had about 8 turnovers less and still lost.

PREGAME

^^This. Beat the Lakers tonight and I'll consider this season a success. hihi.gif Championship.

Nothing satisfies me more then bandwagon fans going home unhappy. MAKE IT HAPPEN HAWNITS

Tonight is our night to help put a nail in the coffin of the Lakers post season hopes.

DESTROY THEM! DESTROY THEM ALL!

GAME

Is it me or is Howard kind of a waste of 7 footer? Sure he gets a dunk now and then, but shouldn't he dominate this game? He is no where near a superstar player and lazy-in my eyes.

Dwight is camping in the paint for 8 seconds.

C'mon hornets stop leVing that kid wide open for the dam 3

All those Lakers fans can burn.

This is awful to watch us slowly giving it away

Monty is screwing up this game, where is AD? Lopez is tired and sucking it up.

CALL THE ****ING FOUL REFS!!!

are... you... serious?

WTF Happend to giving Gordon the ball in the 4th to run the offense. Vasquez cannot be trusted to close a game out for u in the 4th. The lakers are still the lakers no matter how crappy they are this year.

Vasquez is a freaking idiot, omg.

Where is Anthony Davis!!!!!!!!!! Off with Monty's head!!!!!

This is terrible

Why are there fakers fans cheering. Ugh. Get them out

I HATE THIS ****** TEAM!!

Vasquez can gtfoh now!!!!! Dude is ******* horrible in late game situations

how do we blow 20+ point leads in back-to-back home games?

come on Hornets you can still pull this out

Hey refs! CALL THE FOUL

I hope during that review they realize how ****ing stupid they are.

Bull**** call by the refs yet again!

Was not out, ref are terrible

Wow...we just got officially robbed by the nba

How do not clean this coaching staff out after watching this horrible display of stupidity once again by Monty Williams. This guy is so far over his head as a NBA head coach that it is sickening. How many games this season has this team blown games in the 4th quarter due to just shear ignorance from your head coach not making any kind of adjustments with personnel. Why did they even bother drafting Davis?
