What baffles is how opposing fans keep referring to the Lakers as 'fakers' and think its insulting to us. There really is no significance to it and just shows their lack of originality/wittiness.

Not sure if this thread is only pertaining to when teams are facing the Lakers but given the recent Irving talks and as well the beat down they received at the hands of the Knicks just wondered what they were saying.

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers at New York Knicks (1/30)

Why is this happening.... is this a tank?

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers at New York Knicks (1/30)

I stopped watching after the first quarter. To say this is unacceptable is too obvious. Both the Cavs and the Buckeyes are in crash 'n burn mode. I've never said this before but they HAVE to replace Brown before the allstar break and Chris Grant too. Bring someone in to make some trades before the deadline and hope they can salvage the season. The players have stopped playing and I believe it is a combo of bad chemistry and coaching. This HAS to happen this weekend. Who's available?

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers at New York Knicks (1/30)

How Brown is a head coach in this league and Hollins and Karl are unemployed is beyond me

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers at New York Knicks (1/30)

Defense...what defense...this team is not going to make playoffs...rest assured...No strong low post presence....and ball hogs..Kyrie took 25 shots and only 3 assists....that is crap....Deng only got 9 shots...no freakin way......This team is going nowhere...I would get rid of Kyrie as he does not impress me as a so called All Star...if you can not make the team better then you are not that good...period......Players seem lost on the floor and do not know their roll.....no freakin way ..this team is making playoffs.......not with Brown

a take from Allen Iverson....practice,,,practice......it is only practice...I mean practice...

my take....playoffs...playoffs....with the team record ...playoffs...it is only a dream

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers at New York Knicks (1/30)
Waiters is wide open Kyrie come on man...

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers at New York Knicks (1/30)

serious question, where is Dion? did he curse out Potato Head at halftime and get sent home? is he even on the bench? wth is goin on?!? MB can't developed any of these young players, and we are more talented than our record shows.

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers at New York Knicks (1/30)

for everybody that wanted to build through the draft and get young players, this is what happens, you have a bunch of young players, that are suppose to be your best players, and they dont understand how to play the game of basketball yet,

they have a bunch of little boys out there trying to play a mans game on the biggest stage, that is why they are getting their lunch handed to them,

the cavs tore it down to the bone, but the bad thing is, it took 3 and half years to do that, when most teams can transition a roster from season to season

this process has failed the cavs, you have to be successful in everyway a team is constructed to make the product endure and last,

chris grant stole money for years building this roster

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers at New York Knicks (1/30)

It's CLEVELAND.  Building primarily through the draft is our ONLY option.  The only free agents we are able to sign are mediocre role players. If we lose Irving then wat's next, some of you here make me laugh thinking we can eventually get another 'team player' or a big name.

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2/5)

I didn't notice Steve Blake had a triple double which is probably first of his career. So our team went from letting one opposing player have a career night to two players with a career night. First against the Rockets and now the Lakers. Can our season get any worse?

Maybe this is rock bottom.

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2/5)

Does it bother anyone else that the Cavs have such an elaborate intro like the '95 Bulls, and then come out and get blown out in 1st quarters at home?

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2/5)

New rules, no intro if you're below .500...lol

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2/5)

The heck with the NEXT ROOKIE NEVER PLAYED IN THE NBA SENSATION THAT COMES DOWN THE PIPE!!!!!!!(Wiggins,Parker ETC) I WANT IN THE GEORGE KARL SWEEPSTAKES!!!!!!!!!

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2/5)

Wonder if they could put Kaman back in.

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2/5)

Hey look we found a lineup that kind of works.

Too bad we'll never see it again.

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2/5)

start bennett and trade tristan, tear this thing down and start over and get another overall pick, but we'll probably still suck, eff my life

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2/5)

Wesley Johnson isn't Michael Jordan but the Cavs make anyone look good.

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2/5)

It isn't so bad when you watch buzzed, its like a bloopers game, needs more dancing though...

Re: Official Game Thread: Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2/5)

Players should just hold sings saying " fire Mike brown" at this point. Whenever it happens I will miss his bald head and how it glistens.

Makes you wonder if Kyrie was either injured or if Mike Brown was just fed up with his not trying.

Blazers 133
Lackers 88
I don't give a [expletive] who they put in the Piss & Purple; I want to humiliate them. This score would make me so very happy.

S T A R T E R S

KENDALL MARSHALL VS DAMIAN LILLARD

 SG
JODIE MEEKS VS WESLEY MATTHEWS

WESLEY JOHNSON VS LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE

PAU GASOL VS ROBIN LOPEZ

Good lord. Are you sure you didn't just put the starting line up for the D'fenders?

No way in *hell* we should lose this game. I'm gonna love the beat down. icon_cool.gif

I am glad the Lakers are a horrible team

blazers take this by 20

I was driving today and I swore I saw Justin Bieber wearing a Kobe jersey.

I mean, they look exactly the same. douche-like.

Son of a biatch!

*Throwing tantrum*

Okay, [expletive] happens. On to the next game.

live by the jump shot....

This team needs to have its collective heads examined. WTF was this game? We are in no position to give away games like this

Pathetic [expletive]in last possession. We deserved to lose.

Worst loss of the season, and Portland's major weaknesses were on display all night

I'm afraid to watch this team in the playoffs

I knew we were gonna lose when i heard the "beat LA" chant for a team that far down the standings.

If Lillard hits that last shot, or if the last Laker inbound play wasn't literally perfect, the same posters crying tonight are instead here circle-jerking about an amazeballs comeback win on a night they didn't show up to play.

The Laker lineup is straight out of the D-League. I feel humiliated.

On the bright side we slightly contributed to LA not getting a high pick which makes this loss better than most.

I'm never going to another game. I still don't understand how that call was reversed? It was clearly out on LA!

lol @ all these insecure faker fans.

What the hell are all the cheers at the game for the L*kers?

Blazers = Poop.

WTF?!? Don't the refs know Lillard is an all-star? The NBA doesn't call traveling on all-stars. It's a rule.

If thats a travel than everyone travels every single play.

We've gotten [expletive] ed on these types of reviews before.

It's off Brooks left hand

[expletive]!!!!

[expletive]

Jesus Lillard. That's your last play?

THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT!!!! CANT BEAT LA! CLIPPERS OR LAKERS! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

Great bump. Eventhough I'm upset we hurt ourselves, it's still fun to see the reactions of a great team's fans.

I actually wanted this team to do something in the playoffs, but once I see what these guys say, it makes it hard for me to want anything good for them. But I guess that's for all the team's fans including the Lakers'.

I'm going to really enjoy seeing the Blazers get ousted in the 1st round. LaMarcus Aldridge wanted a trade before the season, and hopefully he'll want it again. Winning solves everything, but only to a certain degree before you want out.
