Good to see Kobe sitting behind the bench so he can learn everyone's names.
Sacre? Aren't you the dude that cleans my pool? Oh that was Sanchez, my bad."
its behind the bench to possibly kill Nick Young before it's too lateGot some piano wire in his pocket right now.
Hitman Codename 24
Of course the first game of the season is losing to a Laker's bench that is putting up some obscene numbers.
And the Clips barely even got into their bench. WTF?
Kobe is the coolest dude in the NBA, hands down
"Deandre Jordan looks like he doesn't know how to read"
If I wanted to watch 5 basketball players who refuse to play defense or chase down rebounds, I could have watched 15 year olds at the park and gone to sleep early.
Way to get beat by the bench of a team that isn't going to make the playoffs. A team that hasn't won a second round game is acting like they're already in coasting mode. The healthy warriors are going to have their way with this team Thursday.
Of all the teams to get embarrassed by, this game will hurt the most. Clippers can't let the gimmes slip by. They better get their [expletive] together by Thursday when the offensive explosion Warriors come into town.
Blake, for some reason, could not back up a guy a foot shorter than him and play some simple post game.... so hard to watch

Xavier Henry outscored LeBron, Wade and D Rose today, wow.
Hell yes he did

They're right about one thing. Kobe wore the hell out of that suit tonight.

Blake Griffen has to be one of the most overrated players. He has the same game and relays way to much on his athleticism
Yep, when he came into the league, I thought he would be the next Karl Malone, but w/o a jumper, defense, shotblocking or post moves, he's not going anywhere.
I'm glad that the NBA prevented KG and Pierce going to the Clippers. KG would have made a defender out of Griffin, I think.

These Clipper fans must be the most arrogant fanbase right now. How could speak so much crap when they've accomplished absolutely nothing and bragging about their single season of superiority over the Lakers ? I'm so going to enjoy it when they start to suck again.

A team that hasn't won a second round game? You pretty much just made the second round in the first time ever two years ago!! Lol. Where'd these clipper fans get the ego from?
The poster is talking about the Clippers, saying that they haven't even won a 2nd round game, and are coasting.
Clippers looked like a team with a new coach last night. Lakers bench played inspired. Hopefully, we see more Kobe and less Nick Young in the very near future.

some more gems
I'm so happy we lost this game. It would've been worse to have played that bad then pull out the win somehow then pretend we aren't a work in progress.
But remember, there are 81 more pre-season games left to work the kinks out till the regular season starts, so you guys need to calm your [expletive].
Yea...81 more preseason games to go before regular season starts...
This lost will do us a world of good. Knock some of sense into this team.
Oh and the Laker 2nd unit isn't that good...they just had a rare very good night.
I blame Doc's lazy eye!! Bring back Chachi.
I think we should tank the season and get Wiggins
One game guys. Been so excited about this season, still am.
Relax and let them gel. Sorry don't post much. From New Zealand an I'm at work when games on.
Been waiting since 04' ( I know some of you have been waiting way longer)
But let's just be patient. Do you expect them to go 82-0?
Jewel here, they gonna go 82-0 after the opener loss.
Embarassing. Most embarrassing game of my clipper life, if you read my twotter (@kingaksel) you'll see how i feel. To tired to talk here. Clippers, get your shot together, that was embarrassing. Respect to the lakers.
My one wish for this year, doc rivers makes blakes balls drop.
Can we have rookie blake back?
Also, deandre jordan > blake griffin
Finally I can post.
If you remember I said that I was worried about this game. The Lakers are a multi championship team and have the heart of champions. We played like the Clippers. Mob city is a fantasy. With Kobe it would have been a blow out. Barkley said it best. Until we can say "Blake get us 20 points and control the paint" we will lose. We are supposed to have Stockton/Malone. Fortunately I missed the last 15 min. LAL was playing like a PO team. We were playing like it was 1999. There is no excuse for them getting rebounds after freethrows.. Memphis will kill us.
As much as I hate it we may have to trade JC. As much as I hate it the trade for Love may not be a bad idea if BG doesn't shape up. I'd trade for ZBo in a heartbeat if BG isn't a beast. Won't happen. Where is Wilcox? Unfortunately I think Mullens and Hollins are guaranteed, With Kobe it would have been a blow out. Except Barnes who can guard Kobe? This is not just "one game" It's two in a row where we had no interior defense and got killed on threes. In other words we didn't, except DJ defend anything. What I would give to have Kaman
As far as Pau, DJ has to learn to get physical, body him up. He will learn, no complaint.
This is not jut one game. It's a harbinger of things to come. I'm worried

Funny thing was that the clippers were all acting they're the "big bro" during the game punking our players, getting into that "bad boys" thing going on. In the end, it was a good feeling they were humbled by our Lakers last night. I wouldn't mind losing if they show this kind of energy and effort every game.
