Team chemistry, gettin Shannon Brown, Kobe's MSG record, 2-0 against C's, 2-0 against Cavs, best record in the west.. .i can keep on going.

Farmar's BIG slump (and his injury), Andrew's injury, Sasha's poor shooting, not finishing with the best record, losing Vlade (tho i like Shannon)

- Winning all 65 games.
- Kobe scoring 61 points @ MSG
- Bynum scoring 40 points
- Lamar's 17, 18, 19, 20, etc rebound games
- Kobe's two triple doubles in over 4 years or whatever
- Pau's triple doubles (first as a Laker? I think lol)
- Getting the whole team back together

- Losing all 17 games.
- Blown leads
- Bad games
- The whole team sucking (different times throughout the season)
- Injuries

All I can think of for now.

^ Same with everything else listed above.

Shannon brown stepping up is great. The major slump the bench went through was a major dislike, although it looks like they're getting back into form.

Healthy squad at the end of the season
Beating Boston on Christmas
Beating Cleveland in their house
Beating Boston on their home court
Kobe 61
Breaking both Boston winning streaks
Breaking Cavs homme winning streak
Andrew Bynum 42 point Clipper game
Andrew Bynum playing fantastic week of basketball and winning player of the week
Pau Gasol's consistency
Lamar Odom stepping up big when Bynum went down
99% of Laker games being very entertaining
Radman trade
Trevor Ariza with an incredible year of basketball

Inability to guard 3 point line
Lack of focus against lesser teams
Andrew Bynum's injury
Loss to Blazers twice
Loss to Charlotte twice
Kobe clearly not giving every game his all
Defense could have been better
Losing to the Sixers in staples
Inability to secure HCA against Cleveland

All in all I'd give this season a solid 9.5/10 thoroughly enjoyed it.
"If you could stop all the players that get publicized and all the players that the NBA likes and all the players, you know, the players that win the MVP's, you know, for their offense. And some of them, you know, play pretty good defense too. But some of them, you know, they like "this guy he can shoot, he can score, he can dunk." and I want to be the one to stop all those guys, you know, and just kinda spoil the whole party." - Ron Artest

- Beating Boston and Cleveland twice.
- Playing exciting basketball
- Breaking numerous streaks
- Seeing Kobe being clutch
- Lamar stepping up
- Drew playing his best season
- Pau's dominance
- The All-Star game
- Christmas game
- Kobe's 61
- The game vs the Warriors
- Bynum's return
- Bench players like Shannon Brown and Josh Powell stepping up
- Sasha recharging
- 65-17

- I hate it that we lost to a ton of weak teams and in close games
- Losing Drew for 3 months
- The inconsistency of Farmar and Vujacic

I think the regular season was extremely succesful for the Lakers. Playoffs, we're coming ! Go Lakers !!!

Kobe's official reign of terror is about to get its jump off on.

I really have no dislikes
but if you ask my favorite and least favorite moments of the season
Fav: Boston and Cavs wins
Least Fav: Magic sweeping us, last second shots beating us on 5 occasions or so
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

* 21-7 without Bynum in the lineup
* Wins at Boston and at Cleveland while not 100%
* Beating Cleveland and Boston handily at home as well
* The team chemistry remaining the strongest its been in decades
* More team driven play
* Kobe not having to do everything
* Pau being the best PF in the NBA this season
* Odom accepting his new role with little to no problem
* 65-17 record tying the mighty '87 Lakers
* Acquiring Shannon Brown while freeing up money to sign Lamar and Trevor and shedding Vladi's contract
* Ariza keeping his feet and ankles healthy
* Bynum's quicker than expected assimilation back into the lineup
* The bench fighting through major lineup changes and overblown criticism
* Phil having the courage to insert Brown into the rotation
* Odom's enhanced rebounding ability
* Fisher holding down the PG front (basically) by himself
* Sasha never giving up on his shot and covering the backup PG role when it was needed
* Signing Josh Powell
* Signing DJ Mbenga
* Seeing how the team supports each other at all times in all situations
* Being the best road team in the NBA while holding a respectable record at home
* Kobe winning co-MVP in the All-Star game
* The team's composure in rough spots
* The record on the second night of back-to-backs
* The drive the team has shown after last year's disappoinment

* Bynum getting hurt again
* Farmar's mysterious fade
* Sasha losing his shot from changing his from inexplicably (maybe from ankle issues)
* Losing games they should've won
* Giving almost half of the losses away this year
* Wavering ability to try and defend the 3 (although it is a Phil trademark)
* The loss of defensive focus after the All-Star break
* The mis-called flagrant foul plague in the NBA
* The media giving LeBron the MVP before the season started
* Struggling to compete in Portland
* The "Los Lakers" jerseys
* The shamrock Laker shirt sold on NBA.com
* The Celtics existing
