Nuggets coach George Karl knows that the Lakers are a very good team, but refuses to believe that they are unbeatable.

"I think (the Lakers) are a great team, don't get me wrong, but I don't think they're in that 'unbeatable' category that people want to put them in," Karl told the Denver Post.

"In the playoffs, you don't have to play good games every night, you just have to play four good ones. They're pretty powerful and have a great home-court advantage. But it would be a fun challenge to get to the conference finals."

lol. no team is unbeatable so hes speaking the obvious
“In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.”

"unbeatable"? i don't think any of the analysts or pundits out there have ever categorized the Lakers as unbeatable. the Nuggets are playing well so he's talking smack all of a sudden... -_-

Well i'm not going to disagree with his comments. But why is this guy talking about our team? That's already the second time he has talked about the Lakers. Worry about your own team george, no need to be bitter that your son not donning the purple and gold anymore.

When he's asked why Kobe doesn't tweet, @thugraider37 said he offers this reply: "Does God tweet?"

Way to go stating the obvious... Don't worry, you are gone fishing ASAP...

I'd plow Vanessa Bryant.

Just ignore him, haha, Nugs used to be great but that was 30 years back haha. Its all over now, and I think they won't be "great" in a long time.

Not when the confidence bites back at them in the butt. In this case, George Karl may just fall victim to just that. :D

I want to see a Nuggets/Lakers match-up in the WCF and see the Nuggets get swept!
