UCLA freshman guard Jrue Holiday has decided to declare for the 2009 NBA Draft, two sources close to Holiday told ESPN.com.

Holiday came into the season ranked as a top-six prospect on ESPN.com's Top 100 and stayed there for much of the season. Toward the end of the season, Holiday struggled and his stock started to dip.

A survey of a sampling of NBA general managers finds that Holiday is ranked somewhere between 8 and 16 on several draft boards.

He has not hired an agent to preserve his college eligibility. Underclassmen have until June 15 to withdraw from the draft.

Although, I didn't like the way he was used at UCLA, he should stay one more year.

He's either a late lottery or top 20 pick this year.

He should stay one more year, I'm pretty sure he'd be starting at PG next year for the Bruins. Would do him well to take one more year to develop his skills and improve his stock.
