USC's DeMar Derozan, Taj Gibson and Daniel Hackett have decided to enter their names into the NBA draft, sources said.

Hackett will hire an agent, according to a source familiar with the Trojans program, making him ineligible to return to USC.

Derozan and Gibson will not initially hire an agent, leaving the door open for a possible return.

"He's torn between going into the draft and staying at USC," DeRozan's father said. "He wants to stay, but his mom is real sick."

Dope. I like the Compton kid (Derozan) a lot! Freak athlete. Almost Vinsanity like in his prime, still needs to work on his jumper more consistently though.

I also like Taj Gibson's game, but there's doubts whether he'll be good enough to survive in the NBA game.

Hackett might just go play in Italy if it doesn't pan out for him in the NBA. Plus he's Italian anyway, grew up over there and everything.

grew up in italy we must draft him

kobe-esque

but i want athleticism in the offseason so hackett would be alright. there are about 10 PGs that have all star potential in this draft and about 5 more that have potential to be solid role players

that is an exaggeration but if everyone comes out then it is an extremely deep PG draft

What I like about Hackett as well is he's got great size for a PG and is very known for his tough defense. He'd definitely be an upgrade over Farmar. He's also left handed, pretty solid shooter, can create his own shot and is a good overall system Point Guard.

Totally agree. Guy needs some serious work, but at least he didn't hire an agent so that leaves him the option and possibility of still coming back to play for UCLA if he's not drafted or doesn't like where he's told he's most likely to go.

what about romeo?

Good question, I was wondering about him during this past season. Never saw him at all.

Not as close to the same as Holliday though, certainly they could both use another year, but Derozan is FAR more ready than Holliday for the NBA. He made Holliday look like pure crap last season.
