"He kind of played like we hoped he would play," Jackson said. "We've seen him play that way in practices and we're waiting for him to get up in a game and start playing like that."

"He [Jackson] just told me to go out and play hard on both ends of the court, execute on both ends of the court and follow the game plan and everything is going to fall in place," Brown said. "That's what I've been trying to do."

"He's going to make a way for himself if he continues to play like that," Jackson said, referring to Tuesday night's game, in which Brown shot four for seven, collected two rebounds and played hard during his 11 minutes.

"We just have to give him some minutes just to see him get comfortable on the floor and learn his teammates and learn the offense like we want him to learn it."

Looks like they are trying to groom him to be a super-sub.

the irony of it all is we were excited when cleveland took shannon over jordan

yet 3 years later jordan has actually regressed while shannon is on the upswing

sad it would have been story book for jordan to be a lifelong laker but his laziness and ego are going to get him traded

next season opur 2nd string backcourt

nate robinson
shannon brown

oh the athleticism

i think shannon is going to be how like ariza is now but next year. once he gets the offense down. and if he works on his jumper. he could be great off the bench.

Hah. Classic song right there regardless of whether you like the guy or not. Too bad he doesn't go to Laker games anymore though.

I have lived in Los Angeles all of my life. Farmer and I are about the same age. He went to Taft, and I went to NHP. All through high school, all you would hear about is how good Farmar is.. When the Lakers drafted him, then Phil inserted him in the playoff's, I actually started to see the potential. While in high school all you would hear about is Farmar and Nick Young.

Last night against Sac town, I saw Shannon dunk that ball, I wanted to see him more though out the game. I really like this kids potential. We all have to remember that Farmar sustained a knee injury that could have ended his season, but on all accounts we must stay patient, and humble that we have so much talent brewing on the bench.

The Lakers this season are very special. It is good Shannon coming off the bench with energy. I am a point guard kind of guy, I believe Fisher is the best defender we have had this decade. (Not including Kobe/Shaq) So the grooming of my peers is very fun to watch.

I dont even think the Lakers were interested in Morrision, I think they were actually interested in Brown.

and its great to see all these players in a better situation than they have been in the past years...I'm already plannin on watchin a lot more OKC games next year

I can see him taking a Pargo/Lue type role on this team. But nothing more until he develops a consistent 3 pt shot.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.
