The Knicks are out of the playoff picture, and coach Mike D'Antoni has threatened to clean house at the end of yet another disappointing season.

The offseason figures to be eventual, with Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler the only players that appear safe.

"I would think we won 29 games [before last night], I don't envision anyone anywhere," D'Antoni said. "We're going to try to get better everywhere. Anytime you win 29 games and don't make the playoffs, everything is open for discussion, everything is thrown against the wall."

Sure, makes sense.

Once Nash and James come the team will have to be constructed differently.

If they wanna give up David Lee for Nate Robinson or draft picks, I'll take them.

i would be much happier with the little man with the heart of a lion than old nice and easy farmar. also jordan fits their offense and defense(plays none of it)

also at our 1st nate is much better than anyone we could draft

I do agree that Robinson is better than any player the Lakers could draft.

However, Jordan does have an intensity about him. The guy does want to win. I just wonder about his stubbornness to adapt to a system he's obviously still not buying into 100%. That right there, makes me wary.

If the Knicks went for that deal - I'd pull the trigger though, with no hesitation.

If I were Knicks management, I would seriously clean house except for Nate, Lee, Chandler, and Gallanari

Well Nate and Lee are going to be very expensive to keep. Lee is going to get probably the biggest contract of his young career- unless he keep improving at this rate.

Nate is the slam dunk champion, that alone brings some hype into signing him, he's a great player and a huge sparkplug/fan favorite. Any team would pick him up.

Nate would actually be a great fit for this Lakers squad, as you guys have mentioned. Since the triangle offense has no real use for a true pass first PG, he would fit in perfectly fine.
I'm a DIE HARD Clippers fan, and proud. I respect the Lakers and watch them every chance I get.

Respect me and I'll respect you. Don't respect me... we'll cross that bridge when we get there :)

I would trade Farmar + picks for Nate in a heartbeat.
