It probably consists of 2 of the top 5 (statistically) pitchers in baseball. Sanchez was a very unlikely candidate to throw our first no-hitter in 3 decades and the league's first no-hitter of the season. Great performance for him.
This team has been nothing short of surprising this season. We need to hold on to the wild card in the 2nd half of the season. I'd be thrilled if we can close in on the Dodgers for the division title, but I doubt that happens.
But if we get that hitter we desperately require in the middle of the order ... yikes.

Dream on....
What a surprising remark from a fan of the Dodgers.
Pretty impressive how you conveniently left out the part of my post that clearly stated how I doubt the Giants will close in on the division. Most people forget this was supposed to be a REBUILDING year for the team, but halfway through the year, we've been one of the league's most surprising teams and we've got a nice lead in the NL Wild Card.
Kudos to your team however.

that would be so sweet...hopefully the Giants keep it going strong till the end. They're unfortunate to be in this division. With their record, they could be first in almost any other division. If they do get a power bat to thicken the order, we could have a NLDS of Dodgers - Giants

i left that out cuz i taught that was funny LOL. But seriously Pitching is not gonna get it done especially if one of your starters gets hurt. What a surprising remark from a fan of the Dodgers.

Kudos to your team however. They've rebounded nicely with the return of Ramirez and if I recall correctly, they're still holding the best record in the bigs.
