As it stands right now, the Spurs play the Hornets in the first round - the team they beat last year.

Chances are the Spurs get knocked out in 6 in the 1st round.

They won't get past the 2nd round.

2nd round best-case scenario... They can beat the Hornets even without Manu...

They can still make it to the second round. A possible 1st round matchup between the Spurs and the Hornets will be pretty interesting. A probable 7 game series...

I doubt that the Spurs will make the WCF. I think teams like the Nuggets, Blazers or Rockets can beat them in the second round. But who knows. It's the Spurs... They still have Duncan and Parker...

They will win the first round but get knocked out of the Semi's. That's my prediction.

A healthy Tony Parker and a gimping Duncan is more than enough to come out of the first round. They'll really have to fight for it though, it wont be easy.
"If you could stop all the players that get publicized and all the players that the NBA likes and all the players, you know, the players that win the MVP's, you know, for their offense. And some of them, you know, play pretty good defense too. But some of them, you know, they like "this guy he can shoot, he can score, he can dunk." and I want to be the one to stop all those guys, you know, and just kinda spoil the whole party." - Ron Artest

Whoa little buddies. Don't you guys you are underestimateing the spurs. Keep in mind SA with a WORSE squad made it to the wcf finals last year. I haven't seen any team really make me think they are going to beat them except maybe utah till they face us in the WCF.

As of now, they're slated to play New Orleans..who has also been off all year. They can beat them possibly, but they're not making it to the WCF unless Finley, Udoka, and Bowen avg 35 ppg between the three
