I just noticed.. While watching Lakers games prior to the Lights Out era at staples, the crowd was always at its feet and noisy and loud..

But eversince the Lights went off at our home floor, the fans themselves have become soft.

What do you thinK??

Should they restore the Lights to bring more energy to our Lakers team??? :nervous:

i think this thread is a bit absurd. lights out look amazing if you ever go to one of the games. it also has something to do with tradition since thats the way it used to be in the forum where magic and kareem played.

Lol, this made me laugh. I actually don't mind the lights out. Makes the court stand out more and feel brighter.

Nah the fans are good. Im not worried about them.

The WHOLE POINT of having lights out was to get the fans INVOLVED in the game... when Phil Jackson first came to the Lakers, the media asked him why the Lakers crowd were so quiet, and PJ responded by saying that it's because the lights are on throughout staplescenter during the game unlike at places like MSG and United Center, where the FOCUS would be on the court. He mentioned that the fans in LA are busy looking for celebrities, talking on their cellphones, etc. instead of paying attention to the game.

And now that they finally turn the lights off to GET RID OF THE PROBLEM, you are complaining about it?

I've sometimes questioned why they aren't loud on TV, but when you are at a game, IT IS LOUD!

i just dont get why people jack up a random thought and create a thread over it, especially if no point to it whatsoever. i could create a thread saying that i think andrei kirlenko is a spy for the russians but theres really no need for it.
