LOL!!!!!!!!!

40% 3pt shooting.

Able to bring the ball up without too many turnovers. Averaging 5 assists to only 1.5 TO's.

One of the more clutch players in the league.

Makes his teammates better.

He's the ideal Triangle PG.

On offense. Defensively, Bibby is as bad as Farmar.

I'd rather have Kidd

Kidd's defense is awful at this point in his career, aside from getting steals. Kidd thrives when he has the ball in his hands, which will be a problem with Kobe here and with the Triangle.

Bibby doesn't need the ball in his hands, and will create space for Kobe to drive, and Bynum/Gasol to work in the paint.

It's about fit, and Kidd does not.

Hinrich is grossly overpaid. No thanks.

Jack wouldn't be bad, but I'm concerned about his 3pt shooting. Bibby is a guarantee hit.

Bibby would actually be a nice fit if he comes at the right price and if Derek decides to hang them up.

Who's going to give it to him? With the economy in the toilet, and many teams needing loans, the days of mid-level players getting top level money is long gone.

Yeah I keep reading how all these players are going to get all this great money. Who is going to pay it? A few players such as Boozer to Detroit will get there's, but for the most part some players such as Bibby, Andre Miller, Jason Kidd, Rasheed Wallace and AI are going to be in for a letdown when it comes to contracts. I doubt Odom gets over 7 million on the open market. Maybe 8, but that is max.

Bibby doesn't play defense.

My ideal PG is Hinrich, but we can't afford him.

Kidd is too old.

I don't even know. We might as well draft AJ Price or Darren Collison.

Hell no to Bibby. As much he contributes to Atlanta, he's their biggest liability when it comes down the stretch. He doesn't make those clutch shot anymore but he's more of a liability defensively because they can switch up on him easily.

Bibby makes his players better by shooting first and passing second?

He makes his players better by compromising the interior and perimeter defense from being easily screened out, a lack of lateral speed and an unwillingness to dip down low once his man his past him? Yeah Bibby doesn't make players around him better any more than any other typical point guard in the NBA. Over-hyped PG is Bibby's label from now until forever.

Not to mention his height doesn't warrant big money from a triangle running Phil Jackson led Laker team that likes its point guards of free agent / big salary status to be larger.

Bibby isn't the answer. When it comes to points in a Phil Jackson system think PG's that don't ahve to dominate the ball to be effective. Bibby needs the ball to do anything correctly.

PG isn't the glaring need next year, perimeter defense with size and the ability to drop down below the free throw line after getting screened out is.

Of those kinds of guards, there aren't many.

I can't think of an answer at this exact moment but Bibby and Kidd wouldn't be the answer.
