It's probably safe to say New York Knicks forward Al Harrington won't be sending Don Nelson, his former head coach with the Golden State Warriors, a Christmas card this December. Their relationship couldn't come to an end quick enough for both parties. The straw that broke the camel's back was when Nelson said: "(Harrington) thinks he's a superstar. I think he's a very good player." The Warriors eventually accommodated Harrington's request to be traded and dealt him to the New York Knicks on November 21st of last year. Some four months later Harrington wasn't afraid to be candid in his assessment of his former coach. "Nellie's a gangsta," Harrington said with a big smile. "He just does whatever he wants." Harrington went on to imply that the Warriors' players would have been happier had Nellie stepped down and assistant coach Keith Smart stepped into the lead role.
