Wade has the most FT attempts out of anybody with LeBron second at 22 and 15 respectively. Can people please shut up about these players not earning their way to the line? It's obvious that these two players are great at drawing contact and aggressive at attacking the rim instead of settling for jumpers.

Stop making up excuses...these two guys earn their trips to the line.

No? What? Great argument, except you didn't address the fact that Wade is averaging over 5 attempts a game in only 18 minutes per game. Supposedly Stern 'gives' him everything, but his play in the internatinoal arena is completely debunking that fabrication.

If the point of the thread is that the USA players earn their trips to the FT line, why would you title it "IS STERN PAYING OFF INTERNATIONAL REFS?"

So confused.

It's sarcasm.

It's obvious there is no way that Stern can pay off international refs, yet Wade and LeBron are still leaders in FT attempts on the US team. Laker fans are infamous for downplaying LBJ's and Wade's accomplishments by pointing that they get a lot of FT attempts which are determined by Stern. Their olympic play proves that theory pure BULL.

I see you're still making threads/posts with the intent of stirring up trouble. As obsessed as you think LBJ, Wade, or insert player name haters are with talking crap about the officiating they receive, you're that much more obsessed with trying to defend those players when it's not even needed.

We get it. Their FTAs in international play proves that they are never given preferential treatment in any game in the NBA.

Given the hysterical/paranoid nature of our fans, you probably should've added OMGWTFBBQLOL or something to the end of the thread title.

That being said:

LeBron and Wade and many other stars DO earn their way to the FT line in NBA games.

and

Star players DO get preferential treatment by the refs in NBA games.

As hard as it is for many people to realize, the world is not black and white.

I think he was answering the original (albeit sarcastic) title of your topic and not arguing with your point.
