I think the Cavs won't win against a healthy Celtics team...

The Celtis will slow down Lebron and beat the Cavs in 5-6 games, I have no doubt about it, no doubt about it.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Cavs beat up on bad teams and win home games against good teams, but struggle on the road against good teams. I'm not that impressed. We beat good teams on the road, we just suck against bad teams. We play down to our competition too much. It's funny how people are so impressed with the Cavs right now. They had an absolute cakewalk to finish the season. In a 7 game series, we will win. I'm more worried about a healthy Boston team, which is why we need to finish with a better record than them.

Lakers slipped. I also feel the Cavs have a great chance to win it all.

Maybe it isn't lack of heart. Maybe it is bad defense, poor bench production, sketchy ball handling, turnovers, Kobe's recent slump.

The Lakers window will be open for a while.

How can you 'choke' when you have one HOFer leading a team filled with scrubs? This has nothing to do with them choking. They're overachieving under the greatness of the King. But everybody else on that team is a bunch of role players.

Generally, you don't win rings without playing alongside a second HOFer. Now I know some people on TLN rate Mo Williams as the 2nd greatest combo guard who ever lived (LMAO!), but that's not enough to get it done.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

Who called Gasol a scrub ?

All the Kobe first fans who equate him to Zydrunas Ilgauskus and Mo Williams level.

I could just take your IP and go find out what you said about the Lakers last season, if you'd like. I have guys that will do it for me on CL and LG, and pretty much any other board.

Telling me to shut my mouth is kinda funny, because it's something I probably need to suggest to you, before:

1) the members shut you up for questioning their loyalty, or
2) I shut you up, block you from accessing the board even as a guest, and erase any history you have as a member here (as well as any memory of it)

And this is me being extremely nice.

Find what i said last year. or the year before. Find them. Im a loyal fan. I have never said "Lakers will lose a game, Kobe suck" Go find it. I really dont know why are you assuming a lot of crap about me.

why is everyone worried about the cavs? yea they are going strong right now..... but I would be more worried about a healthy celtics team.

we took down the cavs twice this season, at home with bynum we almost had them beat by 20, and on the ROAD we beat them by 10 WITHOUT bynum.

Cavs are more dangerous because they'd have home court vs. us hunnie bunz. Plus the Playoffs is a way different atmosphere then some regular mindless season games.

and we have proven that we can beat them, Home or away, banged up or not. when we beat them in their own house kobe had the flu and bynum was out, LOL........ plus I wouldn't call that game just some mindless regular season game, do you think at that point the cavs were favored to get the leagues best recorded? you know the cavs WANTED to split the series they just couldn't

who you calling hunny bunz? LOL

The Cavs have beaten everyone this year but us. But I'm not even worried about the NBA Finals at this point. Why does everyone think we are a lock for the West?

As a Laker fan, if you're not worried about the way the team has been playing lately, you need to be. Our offense has been sputtering as of late. Before last night, Kobe had been shooting himself completely out of the MVP race. (He still has no chance, its LBJ's and any analyst who says otherwise is trying to create intrigue.) In the last 15 games, we have scored above our average on only 3 occasions and one of those was against Golden State.

We have ZERO bench at this point. What was once our x-factor in match ups with all the elite teams, is now a detriment. We used to be able to roll our bench out against other teams starters and they would at times extend the lead. Outside of one good game in Chicago, they haven't played even average for over two months now.

The Nuggets are playing maybe their best ball of the season right now with them winning 9 of 10 and 4 in a row. Granted, their competition has been weak, but at least they're beating those teams. New Orleans as our second round match up is a little scary. And heaven forbid we face the Blazers in the second round (which with the way the WC is packed could happen just as easily as anything).

YES, the Cavs can win it all. So can Boston, so can the Magic (less likely IMO though due to their reliance on outside shooting). If the Lakers bench doesn't find their mojo and Bynum doesn't return at at least 90%, I'd bet on whoever comes out of the East as the NBA champion. And by the way, I can say that and still be a Laker fan.
