The more I think of this good news, the Lakers should have kept it secret. Then in the first round have him come out in introductions. That would be sick.

H3LL yeah , that would of been sick and it would of through off the other team tremendously hahahahahahahaha

but I gotta ask , wouldn't that be illegal, don't we have to report what players are active to the NBA before ever game?

haha read this on Bynum's playboy picture:

He picked up Playmate Nicole Narain and placed her on his shoulders and got somebody to take a picture with his digital camera.

Upper-body strength, check.

He hopped over a velvet rope near the DJ booth so he could take a picture with Narain and other Playmates who ended up sitting on his lap.

Jumping ability, check.

He sidestepped a few of the roaming cameras and got down with some Playmates on the checkered dance floor set up in the backyard.

Lateral movement, check.

Later, with lines around the bar getting longer, he pulled out a bottled beverage from one pocket and four plastic cups from another and offered up drinks to three Playmates who were with him.

Ability to adjust to game situations, check.

Some of the negative nancys should sit back and relax. We didn't get a report like this last year from what I remember. All we got were a bunch of reports about set backs.

Oh man I can't wait to see him back I swear I'm going to blast the 300 song Returns a king when I see him :P
"If you could stop all the players that get publicized and all the players that the NBA likes and all the players, you know, the players that win the MVP's, you know, for their offense. And some of them, you know, play pretty good defense too. But some of them, you know, they like "this guy he can shoot, he can score, he can dunk." and I want to be the one to stop all those guys, you know, and just kinda spoil the whole party." - Ron Artest

Healthy or not - his defensive presence will be the BIG difference. His offensive rythm will come - though we don't even really need it.

Rebounding and defense!

Right on!

With the best record in the nba and homecourt through out the playoffs still in reach Bynum is a necessity for sure. If he gets back for the final 4 games or so we'll be in goo d shape.
