because once we get to the finals we basically just have to win either game 1 or game 2 on the road and we have 3 home games we can win the championship here instead of away.

BTW Cavs are gonna struggle in the playoffs they have to go through

Orlando
Boston
Hawks

you can agree with me or you can express your opinion,I think this is a better idea since we have the best road record right now.

I think that whoever come out of the East into the Finals will have a much harder time than we would assuming we reached the Finals. We have dominated our conference for the most part this season, while the East has 3 of the top 4 teams in the NBA. Sure, the first round matchups don't seem like they'd take much of a toll, but come the ECF, maybe even the second round, the East'll start to take its toll on the Cavs, Celtics, maybe even the Magic.

our goal was to get the top seed and we are failing at doing so

consolation prizes are not what we want

Uhhh i don't know about just letting them have it. Especially since top seed isn't really in our hands right now and hasn't been since the cavs gained that 1 game lead on us. We don't have the control to let them get anything. Cavs are in control of their own destiny. They keep winning, they get top seed. While our destiny is in the hands of the cavs. We need them to lose 2 games (while we win every game from now on) for us to get HCA.

Our goal is the championship. Being top seed doesn't prevent that.

yes it does having game 1 at home is underrated

we lost by 5 last season in game 1 at boston

and most of that was pure emotion generated from the crowd if that game was at home no telling how the finals would have been different

we obviously shouldn't give up now but cleveland is playing 10 times better than us, lebron is playing 10 times better than kobe, the cavs bench is 10 times better than ours, and their record is 10 times easier than ours

our chances at the top seed went from decent to terrible

especially with games at portland and utah at home

I dont care if Lebron is MVP

the Real MVP has to prove himself that he can bring his team to the finals

It's cool with me.. I like being the underdogs.

The last two times we played in the Finals as the favorites, we lost. The Cavs remind me of the 2008 Lakers.

its kind of sad that some of our guys STILL don't know their roles...Sasha/Farmar/Luke...they just play out of rhythm. Kind of pathetic that Kobe has to deal with babysitting these weak minded players

the cavs remind me of the 2001 76ers

1 superstar playing out of his mind

supporting cast playing excellent defense and hitting shots

yeah and then they run up and chuck up some shot without letting kobe, gasol or lamar touch the ball

What I mean is nobody expected us to be in the Finals last year and the media made us the favorite, right before the playoffs started.

part of the reason we became a favorite because Boston was struggling immensely in each of their rounds to get out of the East

we have proven that we're the best road team in the league and we still have a no.1 seed in the West...we're a year older, more experienced and we're gonna have Bynum and Ariza to help us. Rest our starters (aka limit their minutes) and play Shannon Brown more to see what he has to offer

Lebron will choke the east is hard as hell they will have lots of trouble they jsut seem good because their playing weak teams right now at home just like us in the beginning of the year

Give LeBron credit for making his teammates better. Mo Williams is having a good year and their bench is playing better than our bench. Sad.

i agree lebron makes his teammates better what i mean by one man team is the offense is run almost soley through him and then a little through Mo

i make a huge distinction between 1 man team and ball hog

kobe last year was a one man team we ran everything through him just this year he is just too beat up to do that

the bench isn't on kobe or lebron

the cavs bench simply knows what they are supposed to do and do it with energy and heart

our bench comes out and plays with no energy and freezes out whatever starter is on the floor with them so they can get their shots

the difference is our bench is a bunch of big egoed prima donnas while cleveland has role players

our bench only plays well when they are scoring the cavs play defense regardless and the offense comes and goes
