Link"In hindsight, we probably didn't have to give him up to get Pau," Bryant said. "We should have kept Marc, too."
How's that for the ultimate endorsement? Bryant would like to have Marc Gasol back.
I still can't believe we traded Marc.

Woa woa woa woa woa.
The Lakers got Pau [expletive]ing Gasol in that deal.
I'll take the losses on that one.
Marc is a great player, and he has a ton of potential, be we wouldn't have seen this "magical playoff run" without Pau... We can't regret this. Marc is unproven in the NBA as of now. If he blows up and is twice the player that Pau is, then we can get pissed off.
Marc has had weight problems in the past, and has been touted as a finesse center in a strength center's body.

I have a feeling we could get Marc back. After the way the Grizzles treated Pau, Marc really won't want to play for them.

I'm not saying he regrets the trade, i'm saying that he/them/we should be happy with what we got for who we gave up, and leave it at that.i think he probably meant that we should've given up someone else instead of Marc to get Pau...like Luke Walton or Vlad or whoever.
He's not regretting the Pau trade...in hindsight he wishes they just didn't give up Marc but someone else instead

Team Farmar
United we stand. Divided we fall.

If we didn't give up Marc, the trade would look even more lopsided than it already is. Although we'd have one Gasol starting and one coming off the bench.

I'm not so sure if the second half of your statement is true or not...Horrible GM...

Kobe
"ship his arse out, we are talkin bout Jason Kidd, you know" refering to Bynum
"I think he can average 18-20 points" refering to Radbrick
"He has unlimited potential" refering to Sasha
"He is one of the most intelligent players in the league" refering to Luke.
"He is a beast and like a brother to me" refering to Kwame
"He definitely belongs in this league, he has a mountain of potential" refering to Smush Parker
"He was always great but recently he has realized it as well" refering to Lamar Odom
and you can find quotes about Cook, Evans, Tierre Brown or any other Laker...sometimes Kobe has said things that makes you cringe...on the other hand what do you expect him to say in public? "this player SUCKS?" lol
