^seriously, they've got all the talent they need to get far into the post season, but dunleavy just can't seem to put things together.

Thanks for understanding.. Yeah I agree.. I wish this team had a different coach, we could truly make some noise.

I'm starting to think even the "injuries" are caused because these players don't want to play under Dunleavy.

So you get rid of Dunleavy, kill 2 birds with one stone:

Less injuries, more wins.

Conspiracy theories - really?

I told you a long time ago that baron didn't want to play for Dunleavy and got nothing but argument. I still know the guy doesn't want to play under him, but faking injuries to do so? Why would you EVER support a player that would fake an injury if things aren't going their way?

If it ever came out that that was true but people still supported that player - that would be just ridiculous. And yes, this team is flawed in its construction. i said it since day one and I still say it now. Injuries or not, this team, as its made, will not work.

If their record and unwillingness to play hard every minute every night isn't an indicator then certainly their cellar dwelling record is.

The Clippers need a COMPLETE overhaul - from ownership on down - if they're ever expected to do anything of substance.

This is a good first step. Now that Dunleavy does only coaching its made it easier to fire him. its obviously what is being lined up, but wanting him fired now doesn't do anything for the Clippers but throw them further into the gutter.

He'll be tossed this summer and if he's not, then things are worse than expected.

Baron and Dunleavy does not fit... I knew that way before he was signed...

Baron
Camby
Zach
Kaman

Talent-wise they are good, but so was the Isiah Thomas era New York Knicks... 4 injury-prone players, their talent doesn't matter if they are on a suit...

I doubt they need to fake those injuries...

Fido, faking injuries meaning Kaman and Ricky Davis. For the most part everyone else was ok, I wasn't putting my whole team on blast, sheeeeesh.

And who are we to say it's gona work or not. No one knows, that's the legit truth.

Who knows, for all we know, they could be a playoff team, or heck, they could be even worse than they are when they're injured. Either way, we've never seen them, and we haven't seen them with a good coach. I like the depth and roster of the team, you don't. Simple as that, there's nothing past that. There's no need to throw out pre-assumed facts that it absolutely won't work. I never absolutely said they're a playoff team, because nothing is guaranteed. So I think you're probably wrong in pre-assuming that it DEFINITELY won't work, because everything has a chance.

And I support the players, I understand that they don't want to play for this coach because I myself can't stand seeing him coach anymore either. I know how they feel.

A coaching change, even a WORSE coach, will refresh them. I guarantee it.

The Clipper's main problems always start with Sterling. He always seems to do a great job at dismantling a good Clipper team.

I kind of feel sad for the Clippers because Sterling is the worse owner in the NBA in my opinion.

Agreed. Although as of late it looks like he actually wants to get things on the right track.. He spent alot of money this offseason, made a state of the art $50 million training facility, switched some stuff in management, yelled at our players (the one thing I didn't agree with) and now he's looking to get a new GM, like Jerry West. I think even though we're probably not gona pick up West, I liked the efforts and maybe he's FINALLY tired of losing.

Or maybe all the hate mail in his inbox is starting to get to him.

As a GM i think MDsr did a pretty good job picking up Baron and Camby, not to mention the fact that he drafted a great rookie in Gordon, but also got two other rookies who have a lot of potential in DeAndre Jordan and Mike Taylor.

He should fire himself as a coach and hire anyone else. Baron can coach the team himself if he wanted.

damn 24 is the place, how can you be saying all this sh_t about LA and it's fans if you don't even live here

have you been to a laker game? a clipper game?

if no, then you have no idea what you're talking about.

dude, same here man. i didn't hate the clippers, but i was uninterested in them until i started going to their games.

i've only been to one laker game, but i've been to numerous clipper games cuz they're tickets are so damn cheap, and yeah clipper fans get crazy and they're games are so fun to watch.

about deandre shooting his freethrows underhanded, the last clipper game i went to was the home game against the spurs where deandre banked in a freethrow, haha, he was smiling the entire way down the court.

Im not dissin LA. Im just saying

Go to any other country in the world and check there soccer fans. They'll beat you up if you wear a wrong jersey in the wrong place. See, thats how it should work.. You wear a jersey or rep a team for what they do. And what has the Clippers do? NOTING. Sure, there game are cheap cuz they suck!!! And its fun. so what. no need to be a clipper fan. Again. Move to San Degio!

That's the stupidest thing I've heard today lol.

Last I heard, this is America, which is a free country. You can't get beat up for liking something different or expressing your feelings.

So you're telling me, if you were in LA, you would spit on me for liking an LA team? What kind of horrible twisted logic is that? So do the people in Toronto (if that's where you live) spit on you for being a Laker fan? Would you be happy if they did? And if they did.. would you stop being a fan?

You're just a hater man. And for future reference- discriminating people for their own opinions = epic fail :P

Especially since I'm the one with the balls to like and support the team that hasn't been winning, and you're the one jumping on the team with many titles and frequent wins that everyone else likes.

Bottom line is when elton didnt join Baron, that [expletive]ed the whole [expletive] up . they knew they werent going to win from that moment. the young guys they have should be trade bait
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Actually, the old guys should be trade bait... Camby is our biggest value, since he's also off the books for 2010, Kaman is pretty good trade bait (though he's actually young), but bottom line:

ERIC GORDON
MIKE TAYLOR
AL THORNTON
DEANDRE JORDAN

^Those 4 are our future. They're durable, barely ever get injured and when they do they're not out long (Mike Taylor was out for a while because he broke his thumb, but he had surgery and actually came back before schedule, a la Jordan Farmar, which was impressive.. And more impressive was that he hasn't missed a beat. He scored 35 last night for Christ sake)

Gordon is barely 20
Jordan is 20
Thornton is 25
Taylor just turned 23.

Then there's Novak, who's only 24, Z-Bo is only 27, Kaman is only 26.

We have a pretty good young core. We just got to stay consistant and keep them, and start winning soon, which will probably start after we get a new coach.
