I definitely don't want to see the Suns in the first round. It would be really exciting to see Shaq and Kobe go at it, but I really wouldn't want to see the first round be somewhat of a struggle. I still think the Lakers would win in 6 games or so, but I think we need an easy first round opponent to get our confidence up, and get a little momentum rolling.

I hope we get the Mavs, because in the last 3 weeks we have lost to each the Blazers, Jazz, and the Suns. We will match-up well with Dallas, especially once Bynum makes his return. With Gasol and Andrew, I can't see the big men from the Mavericks being able to stay in the game. I think LA would sweep this one with ease.

WITNESS Kobe.

Please, the Suns beat us for the first time in a couple years, I am not even worried about any type of struggle with them.

I think the one team that we wouldn't want to face is the Blazers. But it wouldn't be as tough because we would have home court against all these teams. We have proven we could win on the road everywhere except Portland lol. But I think experience would carry the Lakers over Portland in 5 or 6.

Mavs.

I want the Lakers to sweep the Mavs, so they can get some rest before the 2nd round.

The Suns won't make the playoffs... Our best match-up for a first round ? The Mavs...

Hopefully we get mavs and are able to sweep them.. I definitely don't want Jazz or Portland. Portland because of the curse lol and Utah because they are a dangerous team for us.. they match up well to us.. this is assuming we have no AB though. If we get the big man back I fear no one! :)

I am going to go with the Utah Jazz,

The Jazz have 9 games on the road including
@ New Orleans
@ Dallas
@ San Antonio
@ LA Lakers

Remember that the Jazz have the WORST road record of all of the Playoff teams. Plus, the rest of the Jazz' home games won't be a cake walk.

Dallas only has 6 road games left with 9 home games left. IF Dallas beats the Jazz at home this month, Dallas will hold the advantage for the 7th seed.

Odds are in favor of Utah for the 8th seed.

I want to see Dallas though.

Mavs are the easiest match-up for the Lakers.

I definitely don't wanna face Portland. I've been hoping that the Suns come back and get the 8th seed for awhile, I think it would exciting to face Phoenix.

Easily Dallas. We swept them already and they have shown to buckle under pressure numerous times. They will be good target practice.
"If you could stop all the players that get publicized and all the players that the NBA likes and all the players, you know, the players that win the MVP's, you know, for their offense. And some of them, you know, play pretty good defense too. But some of them, you know, they like "this guy he can shoot, he can score, he can dunk." and I want to be the one to stop all those guys, you know, and just kinda spoil the whole party." - Ron Artest
