Several members of the Raptors expressed their displeasure with their St. Patrick's uniforms on Sunday after a win over the Pacers.

"I've already registered my complaint," Anthony Parker said.

In recent years the NBA has had a number of teams wear special-edition green, St. Patrick's gear in games leading up to March 17.

"Wackness," said Chris Bosh, specifically of the warm-up shirts that featured a shamrock logo, eerily similar of the Celtics' trademark.

Toronto's Patrick O'Bryant, who is half-Irish and played for the Celtics earlier this season, defended the threads.

"Everybody's saying it's the Celtics logo. It's just a clover, a symbol of Ireland," said O'Bryant. "It would be the same if they had Prehistoric Day and everybody in the NBA had a dinosaur on their jerseys."

Patrick is right. Is people that ignorant? Do they think the Celtics produced that logo out of thin air?

I think its just the fact that Celtics are green and have a clover as their logo. Its not like the Celtics made the holiday, but its still the principle of the thing.

When is Prehistoric Day? I mean, that would be an awesome day to have off! It would be pretty nifty if you had to wear little dinosaurs during a game or something...lol

Not so veiled attempt for the league to endlessly promote the Celtics to try and get the East Coast interested in the NBA.

Shameless. Good for Parker and the Raps - they should complain.

I don't know which is worse--having the teams wear green or the annoying attempt to recognize the Latin factor with the feeble attempt at Los Lakers or El Heat...maybe that's just me.
