Lamar Odom, no questions asked. I'll get the popcorn for your debate with the others.

Another stupid comparison, I see - must have missed this earlier.

Lamar Odom is a far better player than Drew Gooden.

I dared. And the real question is "is drew gooden a better pure big man than lamar?"

for the record, i think lamar is the better player, but gooden is the better inside presence and pure big man

I wanna know exactly how Gooden is the better inside presence. Lamar's career averages that fall under the category of "inside presence" are 9 rpg and a block a game. Gooden is at 8 rpg and half a block a game.

So there really is no clear distinction about whos the better inside presence.

If you have to fill you're PF spot on the team and you're given either Odom or Gooden to choose from, i'm sure everyone would choose Odom.

And it's not even as if Gooden has a better post game.

Add to that, Odom is the superior one on one defender, and team defender, it shouldn't even be a discussion.

Odom as starting PF this season
14 ppg, 12 rpg, 3 assists, 2 blk, 1 steal.

It's not even a comparison. People will stoop to any low to try to win a debate.

the question is who brought it more the year the Cavs went to the Finals and the lakers lost in 5 in the first round.
drew Gooden as a second option did more to help his team get further in the playoffs. Also Drew was more consistent THAT year
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Ah, and we have another Gooden over Odom. LOL. Gooden averaged 11 pts and 8 reb during the playoffs. Odom averaged 14 points, 10 reb, 3 assists, 1.3 blk, 1 steal.

Finales is all about who you get matched up with and defensive schemes. Go look at the big picture. Odom>>>>>>>>>>>Gooden everyday of the week.

Well, Rasheed Wallace is a very talented player who plays like a roleplayer who resorted to jumpshooting (10x more inconsistent with LO), while Lamar Odom always owned Shawn Marion...
