Poor decision maker and poor passer. He's even stinkier than Sasha.

Stinkier?

Farmar, I've always thought, was somewhat selfish. Not super selfish, but I sometimes feel like he wants to be THE hero of the game. So he won't pass that often, and the passes that he does make are those off the backboard passes to Ariza or whoever....

I like Farmar though and he is maybe our fastest player so I'm not all that concerned. He just has "trust issues". Haha

I agree with both above... He is short so that entry pass is somewhat diffucult and he does have a cocky attitude but in some ways that is good i think.

sasha played well in the 4th tonight. sasha went perfect from everything in shooting for 6 points, 3 fouls, and couple rebounds. meanwhile, jordan had like 4 points, 1 assists, and 4 turnovers.

He's had the nickname "ego ears" since (at least) his rookie year...

Don't say Ariza since he shot under .500, he had a decent game.

Sasha. 5-14 FG.

He scored 12 points in garbage time and played bad defense.

Farmer is the fifth best ppalyer on our team...talent wise, better than Ariza even, but he needs more minutes...without Kobe on the floor, let him do his thing, b/c the cat got skills...he is on Brooks' level right now. thats pretty good
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Brooks is a better defender and a better finisher though

but i agree both have immense potential and have similar games but struggling a little bit right now. Jordan's problems are mental. His head is not in the right place. In regards to talent I think he's our 5th-6th best player. Thats pretty good considering how deep we are.

Jordan Farmar is a talented kid. Very talented. He's in a slump right now, obviously. He's a bit of a selfish player and desperately needs to improve his court vision in order to be the dominant point guard we need. I saw yesterday during the Spurs game a kid who is desperate to prove himself.. It's obvious to me that he wants to be the best, but panics and makes bad decisions once he's made a wrong move. He needs to learn better control of his emotional game and his physical game will follow. Most of his turnovers yesterday were passes... Good for him to want to pass, but he needs to learn how to set up his players and break down defenders to create more open shots. He's 22 years old, we need to give him time to develop and really understand the triangle offense. Patience people. You expect too much too soon.

What's happened with him? He hasn't been 'lighting it up' in forever it seems. Our bench is highly overrated by the general consensus media, can't wait till we get Bynum back, he's gonna' help SOO FREAKIN' MUCH.

Farmar had one good stretch in the beginning of the season. For the rest of his career he's been a solid backup pg. Some people on Laker boards have these delusions that he's our pg of the future. I really, really hope not. I would love to see Kidd for the MLE this offseason. Kidd could not only allow Fisher to come off the bench (since he's getting older) but he could allow Fisher to slide over to sg when Kobe comes out because Kidd can guard sgs. Gives less time to Sasha.

Out of all the bench players, he has disappointed me the most this season.
