exactly what i was thinking. Him and Bynum need to be the prime people that we need to do well. Odom because we need his defense against the bigger players and Bynum because we need his rebounding and post defense along with inside outside game with our shooters.

Sasha and it's not even close. When Sasha is hitting his shots, that second unit gives us unbelievable firepower. We are really hard to beat when our second unit runs the score up against the other team's second unit.

That's the biggest X factor and my biggest disappointment, by far, this year.

It's mental with him. Hs stroke is the same. His focus and confidence is off. That's why I don't mind him shooting til he comes out of it. That's what it takes.

The Lakers have peaked defensively (unfortunately). If they want to take the next step, Sasha has to add that extra dimension to the Bench Mob and help spread the floor for the first unit in spurts/spots.

Think about it.

Vlad is gone.
Sasha is (for all intents and purposes) gone.
Triangle is missing the spacing...that's about it.

And my X-Factor would be Powell, but I doubt he could get minutes over Odom. The only way I see it happening, is if LO is in the doghouse, in the Playoff's. Then it is all but guaranteed Odom isn't back next year.

true sasha is one of those players that takes a while to regain confidence but its getting there with him...
when i went to one of his signings i said aha "keep shooting sasha" and he answered "if thats what it takes" ahah i love him but please hurry machine.

A healthy Andrew and a consistent Odom off the bench will be our keys.
"If you could stop all the players that get publicized and all the players that the NBA likes and all the players, you know, the players that win the MVP's, you know, for their offense. And some of them, you know, play pretty good defense too. But some of them, you know, they like "this guy he can shoot, he can score, he can dunk." and I want to be the one to stop all those guys, you know, and just kinda spoil the whole party." - Ron Artest

Bench + Andrew coming off an injury.
