I would love to have Rasheed Wallace. He's still a top notch defender, and his outside shot makes him perfect complement to Gasol and Bynum.

Rasheed would add toughness to our team as well as championship and playoff experience. Rasheed Wallace at this stage of his career is better than Horry in his prime.

from rasheed wallace to ron artest the pickings with the economy and the market should be very nice

its not like ron is having a stellar season either

sheed would be cool but is he fine coming off the bench

and lets say we resign odom and trevor is he our back-up center or do we get ron artest to start

should be interesting

but the value is going to be low because of the economy ron artest, AI, sheed, kidd will all have to settle for MLEs

Ron's been doing great with the Rockets. He's a very good compliment to Yao because even though he shoots a lot, he doesn't have the ball in his hands the whole time.

BTW, if money were limited, I'd rather let LO go and use it to give the MLE to Sheed. Sheed is the superior defender to Odom, better outside shooter. Odom is only better at rebounding, and handling. Otherwise Sheed is clearly the better player.

Not only Ron Artest's shot selection is flat out disgusting, he goes on a mental breakdown when things go wrong...

How about we finish this season before we start worrying about the off-season?

How about we realize that we're fans and that this is a message board, and that there's no reason to 'worry' about next games?

Detroit is going to build for the future. What's the point of him staying there?

It's obvious ever since they traded Billups.

Sheed would be an excellent pickup. If he would accept the MLE, then he's the sort of experienced vet that will make a huge difference to our team.

That would solve my one worry this offseason. I want LA to get a better backup center and Rasheed would be perfect if he is willing to accept his role. He could backup BOTH Pau and Drew. Still lots of minutes for him. As you said, you let Lamar walk. You sign Rasheed. Then LA needs to find a better PG option and to me that is Kirk Hinrich. Would LA take said Morrison, Farmar and future first round pick for him or Morrison, Farmar and Charlottes second this year.
That would give you,
PG Hinrich, Fisher, Sun
2G Kobe, Sasha, resigned Shannon
C Drew, Rasheed, DJ
PF Gasol, Powell, Rasheed
SF Ariza resigned, Walton, (Maybe first round pick ?) Sammy Young or someone.
