Anyone else see this movie, an incredibly real look into the world of professional wrestiling. And Mickey Rourke did a sensational job, very emotional film, espeacilay the scenes with the wrestler and his daughter. It has a very rewarding ending that made me tear up a bit. If your'e a wrestling fan, or just a movie buff Do your self a favor and watch this film.

I loved it. I did wish it could have dragged out a bit longer. I couldn't get enough of the story & Mickey's acting.

I thought it was a very good movie. Everyone involved did a tremendous job. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it an 8.

I love pro wrestling. When I saw this movie I cried. Good stuff. I hope Mickey shows up @ Wrestlemania. :)

yes, sort of. Mickey himself said it was loosely based on Ric Flair, Roddy Piper. I suspected Jake the snake because I saw this movie "Beyond THe Mat" which Jake has a similar life story as the Wrestler had.

I still need to see this for sure. Will probably wait till my older Bro most likely buys it on blu-ray, then I'll check it out. I almost already know I'm gonna' like it.
