New York needs another team. How fitting would it be to move the Pacers to New York, and stick a Reggie Miller statue near MSG? AWESOME.

Anaheim deserves a team. So does San Diego. I wished back then that the Hornets would move to Anaheim when they were moving out of Charlotte. Oh well. Pacers should stay in Indiana. But Anaheim or San Diego can have the Clippers back. But in Donald Sterling's mind. He doesn't want to move the Clippers out of L.A. He thinks his team can win a NBA title in L.A.

The greater Los Angeles area can not support three NBA franchises. Anaheim would always be a good move for the Clippers, and they have their history in the Pond, but bringing the Pacers in would be a train wreck. It would take generations to build a profitable following in a three-team market.

If San Diego couldn't support a basketball team in the early 80s, it would be difficult to see how they could now. Aside from that, there's nowhere for a team to play in San Diego. The Sports Arena seats about 13,000 and Cox Arena seats about 12,000 (both well under league capacity minimums). The city's spending focus is on the gentrification of the downtown area, and they just footed most of the bill for Petco Park back in 04. Unless the Pacers, who are already in financial trouble, are willing to pay for omost, if not all construction costs, San D is out.

If Diego can't support a basketball then that leaves Anaheim to get a team. But I also just thinking. San Francisco deserves a team too. Maybe that can get another team in the Bay.

i used to live in vancouver, and i dont know if nba basketball would survive there. you would need another team like the raptors loaded with foreign players for people to get interested.

We don't need another NBA team in California. What we need is an NFL team in LA.
